Im a steak girl...and this place does good steak! Saying that I do think its slightly over priced and considering at times ive found the service to be quite slow. All in all though I do really like the atmosphere and the cocktails are really nice. Good for a relaxed meal out.

We arrived and were told to wait in the bar area while they prepared a table. This was a pretty standard request except that the bar area was tiny and it was full. Suggest they rearrange the bar stools and tables so that people can get to them. So this aspect was a bit awkward. The waiter was simply charming!... More

quite simply the hogsbreath thing is old, the food is bistro, the service is kitchy and the atmosphere is bogus. There are a lot of smaller restaurants offering service and food far more superior at the same price.. look elsewhere

‘Ok, we are so happy we decided on Hogs Breath Cafe!’ My partner and I don’t usually fall into the ‘chain restaurants category’ and this goes out to everyone that doesn’t usually consider these restaurants! Well as blessed as we are for being able to be given the opportunity to get away from the bright lights, noise and people from... More

A nice family friendly restaurant at the heart of Terrigal across the road from the beach caters for couples to large family groups. Good and friendly service, great food and great atmosphere. Try the Natural prime traditional cut steak cooked medium with Dijonnaise sauce - superb.

On a visit to Terrigal a few days ago we were looking for somewhere for lunch when we spied the Hpgs Breath with a $9.90 special of a few varieties, so we went on up the stairs to a lovely atmosphere with carved heavy wooden tables and a choice of indoor or balcony seating with a nice view over the... Our group consisted of 6adults, 1 teenager and 3 children. The Hogs Breath Cafe managed to cater to each of our tastes. We were shown to our table and our orders were taken within a reasonable time. Our meals, consisting of steak, fish & chips, chicken, hamburgers and children's meals arrived within about 15 minutes and all at the same... More

Hogs Breath Café (because Hogs Breath is better than no breath at all so they tell us) is a well known franchise with outlets around Australia. This one at Terrigal has the sort of décor the franchise goes in for which is in the 'artfully dishevelled' look with a fetish for faux corrugated iron and reminders of the beach life.... More

Limited family dining options in Terrigal on a public holiday meant we tried this place. Food was average at best and other than the Calamari Rings which were tasty, there wasn't much here that was enjoyable. Happy to pay these prices for food that is fresh and enjoyable.......but this place didn't offer this unfortunately. Not really good value
