Relaxed but attentive service, excellent food, quality ample-sized kids meals. We had the two course set menu lunch for $49 per head and were more than satisfied with the portion size, qualityand flavour of our meals. Plate presentation was beautiful and the included glass of house wine was above expected standard. A very enjoyable lunch. We'll definitely be back!

My husband took me there for a dinner date, although the view is great , the food quality does not match its price , the wines also . $46 dollars for an average steak , and $14 for an average wine , the service was decent .

I have dined many times at the Cowrie.. If you want views the best time is lunch time, but be sure to book early if you want to dine outside; but remember your sunglasses. The lunch menu is well priced for the quality of food you will receive, not to mention the service, something that is lacking in many fine... More

My husband & I had lunch here and could not fault the food, it was really good. We chose the 3 course for $59.00. The service was fine, except I did realize after arriving & not getting the window seat I had asked for if possible, is saved for their regulars, as I was not told when I booked they... More

Came for fixed price lunch, $49pp for two courses or $59 for 3, including a glass of wine. What's not to like? Food is of a very high standard and service likewise. Wine list is impressive with a selection of great wines from overseas as well as top Aus wines. Hard to beat value, especially with that million dollar view!

The Cowrie had been recommended to me by a friend and I was able to get a booking for lunch on the June long weekend (Sunday). Parking is not easy but once achieved we were greeted warmly by the owner and given a table without a view but we were happy to be able to attend on this very busy... More

I have been to the Cowrie & few times for both lunch & dinner. I recently went back with my family & American girlfriend on her first trip to the Central Coast. We wanted to eat at a nice restaurant with a view and as usual Cowrie did not disappoint. A table near the view is amazing with open windows... More
