Their chocolate soufflé saved them

Booked window table for 35th anniversary. When we arrived they tried to sit us away from windows even though tables were empty with only one other couple in our part of the restaurant. Not what they said on the phone. Sorted when we asked for a window table only to be told they can't guarantee... read more

We went to the Cowrie on Mother's Day. It has amazing views they really do make the restaurant. The food was good but as it was Mother's Day it was a set menu. I had prawns followed by swordfish and my other half had pork followed by a steak. My fish was really tasty, the steak was a bit fatty... More

We attended a wedding and had a luxury private dining room with an amazing view! The food was absolutely beautiful, the nicest juiciest oysters I have ever consumed. Service was great and such a beautiful view, cannot wait to return!

One of the group was vegetarian and was well accommodated after... More

Good local restaurant for us that delivers consistently good service and fresh seafood choices. Warm afternoons, ask for a table outside for magic lunchtime enjoyment.

The seafood platter is passable, the catalan version is quite nice. Had a chocolate fondant type souffle for dessert which had no fondant inside it. Service is very snooty and the price is more...
