Best Hot Chocolate in Perisher Valley

At the base of Pretty Valley you fins the Avalunche Cafe hut. Outdoor tables, virtually ski in - ski out dining. Great pies, soups, snacks, but the best thing is the $6 Hot Chocolates, expensive but good !!

Been stopping at this place for hot chocolates for years, but till today had not had the vegetable soup. Wow, I had been missing the best bit of this fun little hut. The vegetable soup was a lovely herbaceous broth loaded with tender chunks of vegetables ranging from green beans to Brussel sprouts to sweet potato. What an excellent soup,... More

This cafe is ideally situated at the bottom of the Pleasant Valley chair lift and the mini traverse to either the Interceptor chair lift or the Telemark T bar. There are toilets, tables and chairs to rest your weary legs and, of course, the shabby chic cafe at which to get your favourite hot beverage. These cafes that are interspersed... More

Good food and coffee but overpriced due to it being a tourist location. Suggest you bring your own if funds are short.

All decent food is expensive in the ski fields but better than fast food outlets at the actual Valley Terminal.

Happy memories of dining/drinking as the sun set. Food tasted great and topped off with an icey beer

Try the egg and bacon roll, it will keep you going for hours especially when backed up by one of their coffees

Ski down to the bottom of Pretty Valley for yummy pies, hot dogs, vegetable soup for hungry skiers at a much more reasonable price. Funky music and groovy owners.
