Good spot but it's closed for renovations at present.

We just happened to come off the beach at the spot where the museum is situated. Nothing is more than at the most a 30 minute walk away from where ever you stay. Luckily it was open that day but the next time we visited it had closed for renovations. We were disappointed as it had been nice having... read more

We popped into the Coral Cafe a couple times for lunch. The food was quite good particularly the burgers. Staff members were always friendly. The museum itself is excellent with an absolute wealth of information about the island. There is something there to interest everyone. Well worth a visit.

Looking forward to a more simple meal of roast pork and I was very disappointed by the tasteless wafer thin and dry offering they served up. It looked like the meat had been through a meat slicer to get the max out of a single roast. Thank goodness for gravy however it was a more beef sauce than pork so... More

Surprisingly good cafe at the museum. Lovely cakes, coffee and lunches. Wi-Fi charge is $15 for one use only, so get all your downloading done at once - and it's limited.

We climbed Mount Gower during the day and wanted a nice, hearty meal to celebrate that night. We were thrilled with the beautiful roast lamb and pork dinners they made. The dessert and coffee was really yummy too!

Great little café at the museum, the curry night was brilliant, booking is essential at all the restaurants and this is one to book. Like all restaurants they will drop you back at your lodgings after dinner. The daytime menu is also excellent and it offer one of the best wifi hot spots on the island. Time can bought in... More

My husband and I have been here a couple of times for morning or afternoon tea. After walking through the museum ( which gives great insight into the history of LHI) it has been really nice siting down and relaxing ( as you do at LHI). The staff have always been smiling and friendly. They have a nice assortment of... More

Yummo gluten free ham and cheese toasted sandwich with great coffee was an easy lunch option. The perfect way to finish a trip to the museum, especially on a rainy day.

A good choice for lunches and part of an excellent museum which is a "must-see" attraction on Lord Howe Island, with its historic, geological and marine biological displays.
