Having moved away from the Philly area 10 years ago, we had not revisited this old favorite, until now. Nostalgia was in the air. The Austrian Village is little changed from the way we remembered. It's not fancy or chic, but honestly simple. It is as it should be. Atmosphere is neighborhood family friendly, with a well sized bar. There... More

I used to frequent this place for dinner. Living far and life getting in the way I stopped going. Until I started working in this area, I stopped in for lunch and it was as remembered. Good authentic food at a great.price. I was shocked at what a great value lunch was and I was in and out quickly. This... More

One of my bucket list trips is Octoberfest in Germany. So when my cousin took me to Austrian Village, it gave me a little taste of hopefully a trip down the road(yes-I know Austria and Germany are different countries!!). It was a great opportunity to try authentic Austrian food. I found it delicious. The nice thing about this place is... More

The menu has changed from the past. I remember when they served leg of lamb. No longer. I ordered roast beef and it was so tough that I could not eat it. Very distressing as I met a friend there from out of town who wanted to try it. I will not go back again. Also they only accept cash... More

People are nice here. The food is tasty and of good portion. Drinks are very reasonable, making this a great place for a family get-together. They've been here for a long, long time, and their reputation stands on its own. Nothing too fancy but still really good. Our family has celebrated many an event here, and we continue to enjoy... Good beer. Good German/Austrian food. Wursts, schnitzel, spaetzle, and the chef's sauerkraut. I'm hungry. Cozy place. Not fancy. It's German and that's good. Guten Appetit !

It's been years since I have been here and I was a little worried about what to expect. When we arrived the place was packed. Thankfully we had reservations. The service was a bit slow from beginning to end. We were a party of 15 and had one waitress. It baffled me why some restaurants still have not adopted the... More

The Austrian Village has been around for many years. It always seems to draw a crowd. The food is inexpensive and many of my friends from other areas asked to go there when we went out to dinner. They used to have a German Band play there on Friday nights. I don't know if they still have this. I used... More

My daughters and I just recently dined at this restaurant. We have gone here for many years and the food was excellent. We especially like the Schnitzel and on the date 5-25-13, we ordered it and the taste was not at all good and it tasted like it was frozen. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made out of... It's been over two years since the four of us have visited the Austrian Village. Thankfully, the restaurant didn't disappoint. Arrived around 6:15 last night (Sat). People were lined out the door waiting for tables. We were able to find some seats at the bar. After about 20 minutes, we were seated. Before I forget, the bar has a nice... More
