I was visiting friends in Kiama in January 2014 and they took me to Hanoi for dinner. Wow!! The food is fantastic - fresh, tasty and quality. We booked a table earlier in the day as it is a small restaurant and fills very quickly. Glad we did book as there was not a table spare. It's fully licensed.

Hanoi is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in the Illawarra. The food is fantastic, fresh, tasty, and very authentic. In fact compared to much of the food in Vietnam this is even better because the ingredients are so good!

My husband and I visited this restaurant on Wednesday 29th October 2014. We didn't book - and got the last table for two free. (recommend booking -as at at least 5 other couples followed us and got turned away). This was the best value and flavour meal we enjoyed during our holiday through 3 states of Australia.

We started our meal with calamari cakes. Unfortunately these were rubbery and bland. This was made up for with superb mains. The crispiest of crispy skin chicken, delicious, succulent grilled fish and authentic Hanoian fried rice. Byo a bonus.

We tried 4 times to get a booking at Hanoi on Manning and we finally succeeded for a Friday lunch. Word of mouth in the local area rated this small restaurant very highly and it certainly lived up to its reputation in every way. We have since been back for an evening meal and it was just as good and... More

Loved the food, the service and the atmosphere - a real gem of a restaurant in the middle of Kiama. Great great great - I'd never done Vietnamese food before and was sceptical but now I'm completely own over and would love to return next time we're in the area! Will be back definitely. The wrap your own camp fire... More
