Good location

I had surf and turf and the flavours were great but my steak was over cooked. I had asked for medium rare and it was more like well done. Great view

First time on Tuesday night for the special $12.50 ,was pleasantly surprised. The fillet steak was great. I am pleased they are looking after the locals in the winter months.

Great to hear you enjoyed our winter special... the steak is of course local and we don't think you can go wrong when it comes to amazing South Coast produce! Hope to see you again soon for some more warming winter treats... we do love locals and appreciate your feedback. Many thanks. More

After waiting inline to order our over priced pub food we then had to wait in line to order our drinks.1 bar staff on in the back bar on a hot Sunday afternoon and 2 in the main bar. By the time we got our drinks the buzzer went off for our food we ate then left. Over priced average... More

Thanks for your review and we're sorry you were disappointed this time. Your experience is certainly starkly different to the opinion of most of our guests, who rave about our great-value pub food sourced from local produce, expert chefs, friendly bar staff and relaxed atmosphere. We feel our ordering system is in line with other hotel and bistros, but will... More

A cold beer on the deck overlooking the bay, with a meal of flathead and chips is a great way to end the day. As the sun set creates shades of pink on the clouds and the boats return a very idyllic setting. Friendly bar staff help you settle in....

Great place to meet up with friends for food and a drink. It is a bit hit and miss with the service. Sometimes there is not enough staff in the holiday season and you find long queues to order at the bistro and the bar. The food is good quality although I think a bit expensive for a pub.

Quite a lot of renovating going on, which affects the atmosphere hopefully once they are done it will be worthwhile. The crispy skinned barramundi I had for dinner was delicious. The live music in the evening was entertaining and fun.

We went to check out the Husky for a meal. We sat out on the deck and were bombarded with noisy music. We then looked at the menu and prices and decided to walk out. We can't enjoy a meal which is overpriced with noisy music taking away the ambience of the place. The views were great but that was... More

John, we wish you'd stayed for a meal (coming inside or moving to the quieter dining room next to the deck may have helped!)... if you had, you'd no doubt agree with the majority of our customers who report our food is fresh, delicious, local, and surprisingly reasonable for its award-winning origins. As for our live music on Friday and... More

The place is no wonder but is organized. You have to wait in queue to order your meal, choose a table and wait until food is ready. You can stay either indoor and outdoor. The environment is a bit noisy and prices a little high. the food is okay, but well served.

Thanks for your review Rita, and we're glad you enjoyed your visit. We are surprised by your comments about our pricing, however, as the majority of our guests find the award-winning menu full of fresh, local produce as reasonable as it is delicious! Best of luck in your travels. More

We went to this place with no expectations. 4 adults and 4 kids. We ordered the food and it came in about 10 minutes which was great. The food was ok and well presented. The part we were in looks like it has just been renovated. Overall it was ok

This place is beyond a joke!! When I was 18 my friends and I decided to visit the Huskisson pub one night and when we got to the door the bouncers were checking IDs. After checking my ID, multiple bouncers told me that my real ID (my current drivers license) was fake. Even after I insisted that it was a... More

Rachael, our security staff are highly trained and very skilled at detecting illegal ID documents and take our responsible service of alcohol commitments very seriously. Considering you took more than a year to leave your review suggests you might not have felt so confident about your legal right to enter the hotel at the time? We look forward to you... More
