The food is fantastic. The train or the menu all delicious!! The service is also always great! Definitely give the Dragon roll a try.

Kinoko is great! Staff are super efficient, service is quick despite it being a busy busy restaurant, and the food is fresh and simple! Perfect place for a quick lunch or easy dinner in Byron! A must stop if you like good, simple japanese food!

I regularly eat at KiNoKo and find the food consistently good. The staff are friendly and always there as you need. Waiting times for kitchen meals are reasonable despite the fact they get very busy at times. The sushi is artistic and tasty. The cost is very reasonable and I enjoy the loyalty rewards. See you there!

I love Kinoko. The tapas are to die for & the sesame salmon is out of this world. Staff are super friendly too. A must visit in Byron!

Fresh, tasty, attractive presentation and good value. Our family group enjoyed our sushi train lunch after surfing at Byron Bay. This restaurant is a worth a visit

We have eaten here many times before & really enjoyed it, not this time though. The service was nonexistent and the food was mediocre. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant has also slipped. Not sure what has changed, hopefully just a bad day, but I was still disappointed

we ate all the Japanese street food staples...karage, tataki, yakitori, gyoza and Ebi teppan... All really good. Washed down with a Kirin, and great service, pretty damn good! Also has a a good selection of sushi on the train (but we didn't have any)

We had Dinner on a very busy night in January. The service was great. They found us a table within 5 minutes. The food we ordered came out within 5-10 minutes. The food was very good but it was a little on the expensive side. I would definitely return.

Kinoko is generally all about the food as the streetside/arcade setting is a tricky one and generally a quick lunch is preferred to dinner. Given the January heat we opted for dinner and ended up with a large group too - it could have been impossible but the fabulous service somehow sorted out seating, food arriving at just the right...
