I went with a large family group. The waiter was lovely and attentive. The entree was served within a reasonable period of time however we waited at least 60 minutes for the mains. They put a rush on the children's meals but only when they had already commenced serving the adult mains. The children;s fish and chips was a bit... More

This cafe was recommended to us by a friend. It's a little out of the way but worth the trip. We made our reservation a half hr before arrival, glad we did. The place was packed. The service was great, staff very friendly. It was a cool rainy day, the cafe had a great cosy atmosphere, really suited the weather.... More

We regularly lunch here and the experience is always the same, great food, good wine selection, relaxed but efficient service. The menu varies with available produce, which is always a good sign. Next door is their own deli selling house baked breads and pastries, aged beef, local and imported small goods and cheeses. So my tip is to have a big... More

Harvest Cafe is a short drive from Byron Bay. Ask for a table on the verandah. The breakfast menu looked most interesting to us (compared to lunch and dinner menus). The braised oxtail was absolutely amazing, mopped every bit of it with the lovely sourdough toast it was served with. After our meal, we bought more freshly baked sourdough bread,... More

The food was absolutely amazing here. So fresh and flavoursome. Sitting out on the patio was really enjoyable and they were very accommodating with our 2 kids. The service was excellent. we also bought meat and cheese from the deli on site to take back to our apartment and it was delicious. Would highly recommend!

The staff, setting and breakfast/lunch menu are really good. The produce they use is great and it is all very well prepared. I can't fault it. However, we went back for dinner and the menu is very unimaginative and needs updating.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on a recommendation from a friend and are so glad we did. Gorgeous ambiance, lovely staff and absolutely delicious food. Our pasta was divine as was the pinot grigio that was recommended to accompany it. Our meal was so good we are returning, all the way from Sydney, to celebrate Mum's birthday.

It is always good when a good resturant meets your expectations, it is great when it exceeds them! Harvest Cafe at Newrybar (NOT Byron Bay as it is listed on here) exceeded our expectations in all aspects - thank you! The weather was cold and very wet, so the clear screens were down and the heaters on the deck were... More
