Lunch on a weekday

Great ambience, fine food, good service. The wine list was large and well priced. My two companions and I were impressed and I recommend the place strongly.

During the trip to Byron we ate at the The Harvest Cafe twice in the four days we visited. The experience we had was once in a kind. I think there some sort of nostalgia visiting a place that has history but works so very well. The breakfast there was excellent especially the plow mans style dish, if that is... More

All the rave about this place and i couldn't pick anything on the menu i liked. Organic ..fresh etc... fine. .but i couldnt comprehend how one can ask someone to pay $38 for corned beef and vegies..for lunch! I ordered chis and coke. My coke was 8 iceblocks and a cap full of coke. For two of us.. chips and... More

Whilst we had a great night and the food was lovely I was a little disappointed. To me there seemed an over reliance on slow cooker style meals, yes they were delicious the ones served but I would have liked more choice on the menu. The starters were nice however I thought the desserts were ordinary, presentation poor and taste... More

Recommended to make reservation for weekend , lovely setup and great staff. Food was not as great as reports indicated. Fish a little tough. Lamb great flavours and pick of our meals, well presented.

I love the design and position of this local restaurant, but boy, has it changed. From the early days of this current owner the place was buzzing. The staff were great. The food eclectic and very tasty. I have to be honest and say that in the past 18 months the place has changed for the worst. The food is... More

Apart from being drenched during a wicked storm a few weeks ago while trying to find the entrance (poor signage), the service and meal was fantastic. We visited for a special anniversary and the attentive staff made a fuss about us. The meal, made mostly with local ingredients, was fabulous. And the choice of matching local wines - with great... The atmosphere is pretty cool but the cost was unbelievable and I wonder how they can charge so much

We have eaten here many times over the last few years but each time it appears the prices rise and the food variety & quality becomes more disproportional to the price . If it is ambience of the venue and location you are looking for then this is it however if it is fine dining with the I must eat... More

Beautiful old building with open fire, it's own deli and bakery and great food. We had a leg of lamb, yes the whole leg, with lots of roast vegetables and all was served on a timber board and was just melt in your mouth good. Just stunning. Planning on going back this winter even though it is a 90 min... More
