Was made to feel that we we're bring done a favour by being allowed to come for brunch. Food was average but on the expensive side. Won't be back anytime soon.

We ate on the balcony and enjoyed the ambience and food. The bar is lovely along with the staff. There is a verandah out front and a lovely side garden for smokers.

Newrybar is a small village about 15mins from Byron. The Harvest Cafe was packed. MAKE a RESERVATION. The queue for people without reservations was huge. We had a shoulder of lamb for two that came out on a serving board with all the roast vegetables but all done with special touches. The lamb just fell apart and the whole thing... More

Having heard there was a new chef in town we decide to re-visit Harvest. We had a booking and were off to a good start, and then, the wait..... deja vu all over again, as we watched table after table get served their food. Our waitress was MIA and it felt like all of the staff had dropped a mogadon... More

I've been to Harvest a number of times and never have I felt so unwelcome; so much so I didn't want to stay there to celebrate my birthday. Admittedly we didnt have a reservation, there were tables available but no-one seemed enthusiastic about receiving new customers. My husband encouraged me to stay when a table was found. The waitress, Danni... More

We went to a wedding here and arrived just before the reception was starting. The staff were so welcoming and allowed us to sit and served us with no problem. The setting was gorgeous and the food selection was amazing (part credit to the bride and also the staff)! I will definitely go back as a diner and would recommend!

Given the quality of food available in Byron Bay, we ventured further afield and were lucky enough to find ourselves in Newrybar. Just such a refreshing change to taste vegetables that actually taste like vegetables! The brisket dish was certainly an equal of a far more expensive equivalent that I recently had in Sydney and other dishes not only showcased... More

Brunch visit whilst returning home on Pacific Highway. We were made very welcome whilst waiting for other family to arrive and had regular enquiries from staff and the owner about our needs. When seated, the staff were attentive and helpful. Great casual atmosphere in a small village. Good food. A wonderful discovery. We will visit again, given the opportunity.

This has got to be one of the best cafes I have been to in recent times. Love the setting and more importantly what Harvest Cafe is all about. The menus was amazing with lots of options and a drinks menu which has plenty of options. We decided to share a few smaller plates. The tuna sashimi was simply beautiful... More

Harvest is a must visit every time we go to Byron. We always book, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Today four of us had lunch. Two had the pork belly with parsnips and the others had the Mahi Mahi with celeriac and leeks. Course we had to have a bottle of sav blanc to wash it down. The... More
