Byron Bay is surprisingly devoid of good food.. this is one place which is quickly becoming a mecca in the area for food which is imaginative without being outlandish or too faddish or trendy. European French mostly, very little fusion, just perfect.I always say if you can remember exactly what you have eaten a week after the meal, this means... More

We were really looking forward to our dinner here, being away for a few days in this area. We really enjoyed the food, especially the sashimi tuna entree (for the first time in our lives, we ordered a second entree as it was sooo good). Loved the freshness of the food and the fact that so much of the food... More

Came for a birthday lunch with me and my partner without a booking. We were greeted and seated promptly. We didnt realise before we arrived but we saw a familiar face in the kitchen-an old friend from back home. We were sent free bread and drinks to our table-great! I ate the black muscles in white wine sauce, served with... More

We went to this place 3 times in 3 days during a romantic hideaway weekend in Bangalow: The staff is magnificent and super knowledgeable about the menu, the ingredients and were and how they are sourced, as well as very helpful in regards to the whole area and other recommendations were to eat and shop etc. The setting is very... First of all I want to say that we were an hour late for our reservation? We live in Queensland and forgot about the time difference. When I made the booking I asked if it would be OK to bring our 2 little dogs with us, that was OK but we had to sit outside in the bar and eat... More

We, a small group of older folk, recently had lunch here. The staff overall were pleasant enough, the food was good but we all thought that it was very overpriced, especially the wine. A small glass of shiraz was $14 & it wasn't even the wine listed on the menu. But our major complaint was the length of time it... More

As locals, our family and friends have dined at Harvest cafe for breakfast, lunch and dinner on special occasions and have never been disappointed, we love the ambience, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the food is always delicious! The menu opens itself to all tastes, we highly recommend Harvest! Coffee is the best in the hinterland, also... More

We attended this as a special birthday celebration and were very much looking forward to it. Although we were met with initial attentive service, the sparkling water we were served was $9 for a bottle worth about $3 at the MOST in a supermarket. The menu was very limited 4 entres, 3 mains and 3 desserts. The "artistic" presentation, made... More

This was just about the most disappointing experience I've had when attempting to dine out. We didn't even get to the food! We came in via the car park back entrance and asked a staff member if they had a table for two. She directed us to the front to check with the maître d'. The woman there was busy... More

We visited the Harvest Cafe during its renovations in late November while the restaurant was moved into the bakery at the back of the property with a limited showcase menu. The food was still nonetheless very good. All fresh produce cooked with skill and presented beautifully. Staff are friendly and attentive. Easy drive from Byron or Bangalow. Would definitely visit...
