We can be classified as well travelled locals, rather than yokels who follow the herd hoping to spot a celeb from Sydney at the adjoining table. Harvest had a justifiably fine reputation a few years ago but has since become a victim of its own success so prices have escalated while service and food remain adequate but nothing special. If... Harvest came recommended by several locals and they were spot on. Just a leisurely 15 minute drive through magnificent hinterland and you arrive at the stunning Queenslander that houses the Harvest Cafe. The staff are all super friendly, helpful and attentive. The open kitchen was fully of happy Chef's who clearly have a passion for food. They work with the... More

Loved this place! A long boozy lunch with great friends. Make sure you try the unfiltered wine. Amazing! The boutique next door is gorgeous too! Just recommend you don't sit next to the loos!

Arrogant staff but the food is good .way over priced. Service was slow and careless. Burning chimney for the bread oven nearly suffocated us . Pleasant decor .

This was not a cheap meal but the food was really exceptional and the staff were just lovely. Everything was exquisitely presented and the tastes were gorgeous. We sat on the verandah overlooking the vegetable garden and it was lovely to see the staff come out to collect herbs and vegetables fresh from the garden. The cocktail list was great... More

We had a group of 12 for breakfast on a Saturday morning in January. Friends had recommended Harvest as a "must do" when we were visiting Byron. The service was spot on, great recommendations and fast delivery of food and drinks. The menu was wholesome, hearty and the food lived up to the descriptions. Everyone of the 12 of our... More

We went to Harvest for a family meal. My husband & I shared the lamb shoulder which was absolutely delicious! The vegetables & salad to accompany the dish were also amazing. Service from the staff was very good. They were very friendly & accommodating. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, most of it set outside amongst the trees. It feels... More

Superb, attentive service and very good pork belly and excellent child-serving of fish and chips. Shame about the rock salt in the macadamian butter with the delicious sour dough bread. In summer I am looking for light, crisp and moist foods, the menu seemed more suitable for winter dining, but it is true that I was suffering from sun- stroke... More

We were told to go to Harvest by locals and were not disappointed. However, if going on a weekend or during school holidays I would recommend booking.... Even for breakfast. Recommend the fried egg with slab bacon and blood pudding - some of the best blood pudding I've had in a while. Service is super attentive and professional and the... More
