NOT TO BE MISSED

A hidden Byron gem. Without doubt one of the most authentic and welcoming French restaurants in this country serving personalised cuisine. Have been frequenting Igore and Chaubys wonderful establishment from its inception and can guarantee that this offers Byrons special night out dining experience.

The Petit Snail is a great place for warm, comfort food on a cold night. The food is rich and very traditional whilst the service is warm, friendly and fun. You can feel that you are dining in a family run bistro with authentic french flavour and charm. I dined with my family but there were quite a few couples... More

We were recommended to the restaurant from a friend who lives in the area. She really enjoyed the dessert, so we thought we'd give it ago... AND aren't we glad we did. The service alone was incredible and so personable. The restaurants menu is based completely on traditional French food. So we tried snails, of course, some raw mince meat... More

The food, Duck terrine and beef with Roquefort and vegetables was simply fantastic. I'm no gourmand but our waiter walked me through it with charm. My partner didn't eat all her entree but loved her seafood, her cocktail and Sauternes with dessert. We shared a crime brûlée to finish with. It was beautiful.

We enjoyed the experience of visiting this restuarant. We shared the entree of terrines and duck pate followed by a pork and duck dish which we also shared. The duck was a little on the dry side but very well flavoured. We chose two French wines by the glass to accompany our mains.

My partner and I dined at this wonderful place last night. The meal was excellent! The pork rib was divine. The evening was one of the nicest, relaxed meals ever! When we get married, we want to have our reception here! From the welcome, to the service, to the amazing Chef, Igor, speaking with customers, this is one our of... More

This was a fun night. The owners are so friendly and full of fun. Both happy to come to the table and have a chat. Service was fast but still able to relax and stay as long as you wished. The food was beautiful. If you have been to France, the experience takes you back to Paris again. It is necessary to book... More

It's been ages since we've had French food, so when we saw it we had to give it a try. Well worth it, the owners were very welcoming and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the suggested wines matched perfectly. The only problem we had was the food was so delicious we ate too much. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant

The Petit Snail dining experience reflects Igor's (Le chef and owner) passion for his French regional food. It is simply delicious. His wife Chauby was our hostess and she makes everybody feel special, and she exudes genuine warm friendship. I really don't think I've had a better steak any where. The food, the wine and the incredibly naughty deserts we're... More
