Bookings are 15 minutes apart to allow each party to be personally greeted by chef Igor, which was a nice touch. Escargot for entree followed by steak tartare (the only place I have seen this on the menu outside of Paris). For my partner Igor's delightful pate plate and a superb beef fillet steak. Had fully intended to finish with... More

Was given a voucher to go to the Petit Snail from a family member, as a lover of strong flavoured French foods we excitedly booked a table. On arriving, we where placed out in what seamed to be a laneway or driveway converted. The lady, who I think was the owner was a lovely lady, full of personality and a... More

I am so sorry about your disappointment, but if you had attracted our attention on the night we might have been able to do something about it ! How come it took you 11 months to write a testimony ? Are you sure to be talking about us ? I wonder... Well if you happen to come our way again,... More

This restaurant is like walking onto the set of 'allo 'allo. It is a taste of authentic top level French dining right in the middle of Byron Bay. The owners go out of their way to make sure you get what you are after and the food gave me a rare experience. It was so good it made me emotional,... More

It's like leaving Byron Bay and eating in France. A French accordion player, French speaking waitress and french food. Igor makes everything himself from scratch - pates included. It's proper foodie heaven. It feels like an occasion and it's very enjoyable. I didn't like the creme brulee much, though

I went here for my birthday with my partner while we were staying in Byron. We had such an amazing time. The food was incredible. It's such a credit to the chef! And the service was incredible. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love this restaurant and very highly recommend it. Even my very fussy... More

We ate here last night whilst on holiday in Byron Bay. The food was first class; we had garlic snails followed by the fillet of beef, and both dishes were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavour. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive and even included a short lesson on how best to tackle the snails! Best of all the... More

A wonderful evening, a real authentic French experience! Wonderful wait staff with food that was just beautiful. Not the cheapest restaurant by any means but still worth it. Thanks so much.

the service was very personal and kind of friendly (though a little obtrusive) it almost seemed like we were expected to love the whole experience... or else... I wish I had read the reviews first, and managements replies, as it illustrates managements expectations of the customers.....

We were stayed in Byron Bay for 6 days and we went to a different Restarant everyday for lunch and for dinner. I can not fault the quality of the true authentic French food and service. I believe for us it was the finest food and dinning in Byron Bay.
