Food and coffee were good but the competition in Byron is serious especially with places like The Roadhouse. Just need to try a tad harder and turn down the air con - far too hot inside on cool days.

The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere due to the cozy interior and friendly staff. I order the potato gnocchi and it certainly did not disappoint. The quality of the dish was exceptional – well worth a try. Do not be intimidated by the $15 Crème Brule on the dessert menu – it was well worth it! The Crème Brule was... More

I shared a lovely lunch at Targa with my daughter and husband for our wedding anniversary. We had checked out reviews on trip advisor and we're not disappointed. The restaurant has an elegant classy atmosphere whilst still being welcoming and relaxed. A big part of this was the service which struck a perfect balance of attentive and friendly. We are... More

We came seeking a nice place to celebrate a milestone birthday and Targa did not disappoint! As we were there as a family with children of varied ages ( 1-16), we arrived early and were prepared to take turns with our toddler outside the restaurant. The wait staff was super accommodating and understanding providing colouring markers and verbal support!! :)... More

Saturday night dinner here was amazing. I had beetroot & goats cheese salad, for starters. My husband had vongole. For secondi we had gnocchi and the pea risotto. Washed down with a nice vino from Fruili, Italy. Every dish was delish. The desserts looked yummy, but we were to full. The staff were friendly. Great atmosphere. We will return. The... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner we had at Targa. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Out meals were delicious. For entree we shared the whitebait and for main I had the risotto and my husband had the gnocchi, we could not fault either dish. For dessert we had the yummy chocolate tart to share. Meals were well... More

Probably my favourite Byron Bay restaurant. Cafe style breakfast done extremely well! Have visited once for dinner, and whilst the a la carte menu is relatively small, everything on there looked epic! Settled on a mushroom gnocchi with a bottle of pinot noir and was very satisfied!

Warm and cosy with seriously thick strong creamy coffee. The menu is unique and the chefs deliver really innovative different breakfast options. Not just your boring old bacon and eggs or eggs Benedict. There are specials every day, so there is always something new to tantalise your taste buds. I love this place !!

We went here for breakfast, after having waited for a table, and service at bayleaf, which was very loud. We headed to Targa after hearing some good reviews on it and we're alot more comfortable to sit in a quiet, relaxing place for breakfast, instead of a small cramped cafe. The food was well portioned, presented, and described, Tasted good,... More

Sitting inside this warm, cozy restaurant on an unseasonably cold, windy autumn night, we had one of the most amazing meals. My entree was the cheese souffle, my husband chose the whitebait. I then had a selection of amazing salumi (salamis) served with grilled ciabatta and he had handmade potato gnocchi with marsala and sage sauce. Beautiful ! Altho it... More
