We had a delightful evening. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. We were informed that they were sold out of certain items on the menu but then informed a few min later that a customer had changed their mind and that an entree of soufflé was available and a main course of sirloin. We were delighted as I wanted the... More

Across the road from Atlantic where I was staying, so very convenient for breakfast and coffee before going to work. Lovely breakfast on all days I visited here - porridge with fresh strawberries was really lovely, and the chorizo and eggs on another day with sourdough was also very yummy. Nice, friendly place and excellent coffee with a barista who... More

We've been here a couple of times and it's a solid reliable choice in Byron. I recommend the duck ragoo for the main. The wine selection is small but well selected. This place is great with a large group. Definitely worth a visit especially mid week.

Entered an empty restaurant and were told that they were fully booked and offered a seat at the bar, which we accepted. An hour and a half later, when we left, four tables would have still been empty. Main dishes (Sirloin Steak an Seafood Linguine) were quite good, although side dishes were sparse and added breadcrumbs an odd surprise respectively.... More

Am a real coffee whinger - it needs to be just right. Targa tops my list in Byron - consistently excellent with the best muffins too!

Had one of the best meals I have had in a long time! Mushroom carpaccio was to die for and I cant remember having gnocchi that good EVER! We dined on a quiet evening with the service attentive without being in our face. All togerther a great evening

Went back to Targa this year and were very well looked after and cosy on a cold winters night. Good fresh food, interesting wines , service really friendly but don't go if in a rush. Lovely night.

Been several times to Targa, used to be a lot better in their hay day. Last visit was a real dissapointment. Went with three others for dinner during splendour. Waited almost an hour for our dinner, lucky the company was good! My dessert (chocolate tart) was burnt and tasteless. Bit on the expensive side too. Has a cool decor but... More

Came in late, mid-week looking for a meal for a group of 6 of us. The Targo staff couldn't have been more accommodating. We had two courses, wine, and digestifs and everything was excellent. The taleggio souffle was a stand out, as was the gorganzola gnocchi. The staff were also very helpful with gluten-free options. Pricing was more than reasonable,... More

Targa has some soft seating, which is hard to find in minimalist Byron Bay, and the food and coffee are good. Prices are acceptable, and this is a comparatively spacious venue with pleasant décor. But I found the service officious and rude, underneath a veneer of politeness. I would not recommend Targa to singles who care about where they sit,... More
