We drove by, saw it was welcoming and shady on a very hot day and went round the block to sit down. It all went brilliantly. Our salad lunches were superb. Waitress was excellent. Decor fun - check out the ceiling. Byron can have a tendency towards slackness in the cafes but Targa is the opposite. Highly recommended.

After eyeing off this restaurant for several months my partner and I finally put aside enough money to give it ago, and were unfortunately quite disappointed. Firstly it's very expensive, even by byron standards, but the food sadly doesn't match the prices. The vegetarian linguine is by far the most bland, tasteless pasta dish I have eaten in my entire... This place has always delivered good quality food the only negative is that the service can vary. Targa has a nice relaxed feel and overall delivers.

We sincerely apologise for your experience that evening. We were fully booked and due to illness we were forced to try and cater that night with 2 new staff members whom had not enough training. We understand your frustration and were equally frustrated with the lack of quality service we take pride in. Thank you for your feedback. More

We booked a table and were not seated for 45 minutes, and were then left waiting for over an hour before mains were served. Sent back a haloumi entree that was burnt. Still average when it came back. Ordered the linguine and it was flavourless. Literally flavourless. Added salt pepper and Parmesan and still tasted like oil. Only oil. Nothing... More

If you have the time and money make sure to spend it somewhere else. The food is even worse than the service if that's even possible! Go elsewhere.....

Situated between the two YHAs on a back street, it's quiet away from the foot traffic. Even though it was extremely busy at 10am a waitress sat me soon after I arrived and I had my order taken pretty quickly. I went for the basic scrambled eggs, chorizo, and toast. The eggs were very creamy and soft, the chorizo has... More

We stayed up in Byron for Xmas at the Atlantic, Targa is just across the road and we found it to have a nice atmosphere with friendly helpful staff, the food was great and we would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Open plan restaurant in the edge of Byron central. Fresh juices and a great varied menu. Using local produce is important to Targa and the Byron Haloumi was amazing. We had the newly added Vego breakfast and the Huevos Benedictos. Open for Breakfast lunch and dinner.
