Extremely tasty breakfast!

After spending 8 days in Byron Bay over Easter, Targa ended up being my favourite breakfast eatery. The scrambled egg was creamy and tasty, and the side of chorizo and mushrooms, perfect. Definitely worth a visit!

Waited 40 minutes for bread and 90 minutes for dinner. Wouldn't go back. New owners and the place has deteriorated! The restaurant says they tried to compensate by giving us free bread and not charge us for our caesar ... Because they forgot to include the fish!!

Good location, good coffee, good service at lunch. The flatbread was superb. Tried again for dinner but they wanted us to be there early as the restaurant closed at 9pm. Seemed a bit odd over Easter...

Loved this Place, it is a quaint little place hidden away from the hussle and bussle of the main drag that offers such attentive service and lovely food. Can't go past the gnochi or clam pasta.... Delicious! The service is friendly and sencerily helpful yet relaxed. We were looked after by cath who was so knowledgeable, loved having her look... More

My wife and I ate dinner here twice during our recent 5 day stay. The food was beautiful. The cafe is a short stroll away from the Byron Easter hustle and bustle but lacks nothing in atmosphere. Cath was awesome with matching our wine to our meal. The menu is small but enjoyable. We would thoroughly recommend this place for... More

Off the tourist main strip, thankfully, and a pleasant little cafe. We stopped in for Breakfast and the food was fairly good but the coffee was cold and woeful. I've had better in a Styrofoam cup at a sporting event.

Classy and modern take on italian food. A bit ambigious wine recommendations but otherwise great atmosphere.

Byron bay is "toursisty" by excellence and for the best and the worse. The center is full of restaurants for the non locally people: a kind of ibiza A good point Targa is a little out....large terrace, not crowdy in the evening. The service is efficient and friendly The food is tasty, large menu, good value....really good choice for a... More

Visited Targa on a Wednesday night, very calm relaxed environment. Great wine and beer choices. Food was excellent. We had gnocchi and the sirloin. Service was very friendly and efficient!

The restaurant fit out is basic but very nice and reminded me of the sort of trendy trattoria you expect to fine in the back streets of Rome, Melbourne or Darlinghurst. The food was excellent as well inspired by traditional peasant Italian fare. Well worth a visit with a nice glass of wine.
