We went here for dinner and I had the eggplant melanzane and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was excellent in texture and perfectly seasoned - one of the better gnocchis I've had out. To my tastes though, the eggplant was undercooked - I like it perfectly silky, while the melanzane here was quite firm and a little fibrous. I also prefer... More

I do most of my business meetings here. I also have the odd (lots) of breakies & lunches. The food is great, the coffee is great & I always feel welcome & yet not over serviced. Top spot!

Visited Targa with a girlfriend and our 2 children (both toddlers). I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant where they so clearly do not wish to even attempt to cater for children. There were no highchairs is existence.....(I am pretty sure that this is actually a legal requirement), it was virtually impossible to manoeuvre a pram into... More

Thanks for your review Holly. Unfortunately our premises are tiny (especially begind the scenes) and every nook and cranny is fully utilized. We just can't justify the space for a high chair that is used occasionally. We most certainly do not have a policy of being family unfriendly - in fact a lot of our regular customers are families. Many... More

We had a delightful evening. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. We were informed that they were sold out of certain items on the menu but then informed a few min later that a customer had changed their mind and that an entree of soufflé was available and a main course of sirloin. We were delighted as I wanted the... More

Across the road from Atlantic where I was staying, so very convenient for breakfast and coffee before going to work. Lovely breakfast on all days I visited here - porridge with fresh strawberries was really lovely, and the chorizo and eggs on another day with sourdough was also very yummy. Nice, friendly place and excellent coffee with a barista who... More

We've been here a couple of times and it's a solid reliable choice in Byron. I recommend the duck ragoo for the main. The wine selection is small but well selected. This place is great with a large group. Definitely worth a visit especially mid week.

Entered an empty restaurant and were told that they were fully booked and offered a seat at the bar, which we accepted. An hour and a half later, when we left, four tables would have still been empty. Main dishes (Sirloin Steak an Seafood Linguine) were quite good, although side dishes were sparse and added breadcrumbs an odd surprise respectively.... More

Hi there. I am very sorry that you didn't enjoy the tiramisu, and also that your feedback wasn't taken seriously. Our tiramisu is so highly regarded by our regular diners that we haven't been able to take if off the menu since the restaurant opened. However this does not mean that we are infallible and your feedback should have been... More

Went back to Targa this year and were very well looked after and cosy on a cold winters night. Good fresh food, interesting wines , service really friendly but don't go if in a rush. Lovely night.
