Breakfast of Champions

Despite the large number of competing cafés in the area, Mokha can be relied on for yummy breakfasts, good coffee and friendly service. Would definitely recommend it

We have been travelling in Oz for two months so far and this is the first 'bad' meal we have had. Ordered chicken caesor salad each and a bowl of chips to eat with them. Coffees were fine. Chicken was so tough couldn't eat it. Clearly re-heated. Eggs ice cold, chorizo greasy, dressing watery. Had to ask where the chips... More

We made trip to Byron Bay on last Wednesday May 8. Because of Easter holiday most of the places were packed. We managed to find free table in Mokha and we didn't regret. Perfect service from first till last minute. Girl with black hair and jeans skirt was very friendly, attentive but not too pushy. Atmosphere with live music (... More

Great food fast service, pleasant wait staff, but the little song bird in the corner was so loud that we could not hold a conversation. The volumn appeared to be turned down a little when we asked. We will be back for the amazing calamari.

Mokhas is one of the few cafes in town that actually sell coffees at a reasonable price, service was good and so was the coffee, I had a Latte, my cousins had a green tea and cappuccino + chocolate coconut brownie slice. I like Mokhas, its busy but a great place to people watch and lots of shops around right... More

Worst breakfast ever. Ordered eggs on toast, side of bacon, sausage, hash brown and mushrooms. As well as a juice and coffee. Drinks arrived promptly, juice was nice. Coffee was full of coffee bean granules and very bitter. Breakfast arrived 1 hour later!!! During this hour wait no one acknowledged us at all, nor did wait staff tend to our... More

Had a coffee here earlier today - it was really good. Came back this evening for a glass of wine and a dessert. The chocolate mousse cake was divine and the peach and strawberry crumble was different but really good. Dessert was great but to top it off there was a great female vocalist with her guitar. Love the atmosphere... More

I just went to Byron Bay for the first time and visited some cafés and restaurants. In the end I realized that I ended up coming back to the same one which was Mokha. They had great food and great people working there. The owners were so nice, sweet and helpful and the restaurant it self was just lovely. Will... More

We had dinner at Mokha when we visited Byron Bay in August. It's a cute little restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. The crumbed fish we had from the special menu was one of the yummiest fish I've ever eaten. The service was great and we enjoyed the free live music that evening.
