Lots of choice

Been here several times and always been good. On the more expensive side but good position for people watching. Arrived pre-lunch 11.00 so brekky menu on plus huge array of cabinet food and cakes. All cabinet food looks homemade - layered high vege pie/slices looked amazing. Hubby had big... read more

My hubby and I popped in to this inviting looking cafe for breakfast while on holidays, it was the cakes in the display cabinet that drew is in! Wow! We ordered bacon and eggs with avocado and an eggs Benny! They were both perfect! Perfectly poached eggs, bacon cooked just right and the hollondaise sauce!!! Omg! Yum! The service was... More

When we arrived we popped into a cafe higher up the street for takeaway sandwiches which we waited an age for and were okay but nothing special. We then popped in here for a coffee before heading back for our bus. We were kicking ourselves that we hadnt discovered this place earlier. The array of sandwiches and quiches and other... More

What a nice place. Excellent coffee and a fantastic selection of cakes and slices. If I'd known how big the portions were we'd have had one between the three of us. As it was we had to force all three portions down.

Limited menu if restricted. Only warm vegetarian slice. Slow service. The only saving grace was the pleasant staff. Overpriced.

This café was recommended to us by friends while we were in the Ballina region for a few days. We arrived at a busy lunchtime, but staff still helped us to find a suitable table. The servings sizes were huge! The food we had was delicious. It was quite expensive for lunch, but reasonable given the portions that came out... More

After ordering two expensive cold drinks, an iced chai and iced coffee, the first drink arrived quickly but we were unable to even establish which of the two drinks it was as it was basically a 'twisted' concoction of fake flavouring and ice cream. The second drink arrived fifteen minutes later after having to ask how far away it would... More

Went for breakfast while staying in Byron for the weekend and it was ordinary at best. Food was ok and basic but the service was poor. Didn't seem to care and the staff looked bored. Really slow too. Not worth the price and a bit of a let down for Byron Bay. Not one I'd go back to again. Sorry.

Went out for lunch with a few friends, had a pumpkin pie and the Sticky date pudding. Was the best food I've ever eaten. All of my friends loved their meals too! Would definatley go back there, such a warm, friendly environment.

Was in Byron for 4 days in jan and we went here every single day... Once for cake, once for breakfast, twice for lunch and then picked up cake to take back to Gold Coast with us!! Simply delicious. The savoury food feels fresh and healthy (think everything I had was veggie, but as a meat eater certainly didn't feel... More
