We had lunch on a Wednesday. The restaurant was quiet. The service was excellent as was the food. The tasting plate was ideal to share as an entree! Lovely wines from the vineyard with a view over the vines. The fire kept the large open room a comfortable temperature on a cold wet day.

Majestic - great atmosphere. Although travelling solo I didn't feel alone - well looked after. I look forward to bringing a group next time.

The interior of the Centennial Restaurant at Bowral is lovely, with large exposed wooden beams and a roaring open fireplace. A great place for a lunch on a winter afternoon. The prices are rather high for the service though. Bread costs an amazing $4.50 ($5.17 on Sundays) for a single slice of semifresh average quality bread. Really. If you're going... More

We found this place in our wanderings and decided to have a light lunch. What a great decision! We only ordered a couple of starters as we were going to have coffee and scones, but the shrimp popcorn was so yummy we ordered another plate of them. The view is lovely over the vineyard, the staff are attentive and friendly,... More

We had the 3course chefs special for $70 which was good value for money. Food was tasty overall. Both meat dishes were overcooked but deliscious non the less. Service was very friendly but slightly slow. Overall, a great spot for a Sunday lunch. Looked family friendly and great for large groups.

I recently travelled to Bowral for my hen's weekend and our first stop was Centennial Vineyards - despite booking in advance and being the only customers, our high tea took over half an hour to arrive, and when it did the waitress barked at us to clear the table. When we moved on to wine tasting - which we had... More

This is definitely a place that I recommend swinging by if you are in the area and wine tasting. As we walked up through the entrance area, we were greeting with a fantastic view of the cellar and restaurant area. And although we didn't get a chance to partake in their food in the dining room --- we did visit... More

There was 4 of us sharing the High Tea. The restaurant itself was absolutely amazing - beautiful high ceilings and a huge roaring log fire. The high tea food was perfect and also very filling! It was very relaxing just to eat and talk as a family. Later our 2 kids (early teens) walked around the grounds of the vineyard... More

We visited for wine tasting and then moved on the restaurant for a light lunch. We did not have a reservation and initially this looked like causing a problem. However, as it turned out we had our meal and moved on within about 40 minutes and the restaurant was probably only about 35% occupied. We chose to select 4 entrees... More

Centennial Vineyards offer a high tea lunch Monday to Friday. The only day myself and my three friends could go was on a Sunday. Management were kind enough to say they would do it for us. The countryside is lovely and the table we had was in the outer area, as the inside was being set up for a wedding,... More
