Sitting right on the water, with friendly staff. Great seafood restaurant - but it's BYO, so remember to bring a bottle if you want wine with your meal.

This is really a take-away fish and chip kiosk with a small café attached. Having said that, the location is great, with the café extending out over the water with a lovely view. There isn't any table service; you order at the counter and basically the food just comes from the kiosk. Your soft drink is served in a can!... More

We've had take away from Saltwater on previous visits to Bermi and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately after stopping in twice on our most recent visit I'm not sure we'll worry about going back. Portions were generous as always and chips were good, but the flathead was more batter than fish and very greasy. The service for take away is never... More

We sat outside on the balcony for lunch with a lovely view of the water. We shared the seafood platter which was an amply size with plenty of seafood. The platter also comes with a bowl of chips however we hardly touched that as there was lots of seafood to eat! The service was excellent. I'd definitely go there again.

Saltwater Cafe in Bermagui...It may look rustic... but that adds to the charm of this beautifully located restaurant on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales... eating delicious seafood platters, while watching the boats sail into the tiny harbour, fish swim by when you look over the deck and the Café is buzzing with locals and tourist enjoying the whole... Great food - really enjoyed breakfast. We didn't book and were lucky enough to secure a table for dinner but I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment

The first comment I would make is that the portions are of a good size and the prices are very reasonable. However, the food is very 'heavy' and 'stodgy'. I had calamari and as I said the portion was larger but the batter was not really batter but just a coating on the fish. I ordered 12 rings and actually... More

My wife, two daugters and I dined there last night on the recommendation of Graeme at the Harbourview Motel, and the meal was absoluetly beautiful, Fishcakes, garlic cream prawns and the Atlantic Salmon were thoroughly enjoyed by the family for what I believe was a reasonable price.

We both had sea food dishes. Big mistake, the fish was overcooked and like rubber and the mussels were not cooked. The garlic bread was good unfortunately this was the only edible food we had. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We both had sea food dishes which were really good, served by efficient staff, first time we had to bring our own drink, not a problem.
