This is a lovely pub so glad we went to have dinner here. The food was really good and the staff were absolutely brilliant very helpful, friendly and made you feel very welcome. The whole pub has a very friendly and welcoming feel about it. If I go to the Lizard again I will definitely return (their fish burger looked... More

We took advantage of the Tuesday special 2 rump steaks plus a bottle of wine for £24.99 and were not disappointed. A very popular venue, nor surprisingly on a Tuesday. The staff were friendly and efficient and we had excellent meals.

Let me explain! When paying the bill with a card the till roll ran out,and the young lady was under the impression that the charge had not registered.A day or two later when checking a mini statement provided by my bank, I discovered what had happened. A swift phone call sorted the problem-I had been given the Pub's card and... More

Fantastic steak night deal on Tuesday . Best rump I've ever had . And includes a bottle of wine off the normal menu .

Nice old fashioned pub, with beer garden in great position to watch the world go by. Did friendly. Good beer. Menu looked ok ( lunchtime), but no specials on. Was happy with my crab sandwich, until had one at nearby Cadgwith the day after ( much better).

Myself, my husband and my friend went to the Witchball a couple of weeks ago. We have been before and thoroughly enjoyed it, so was really looking forward to our visit. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. We booked a table in advance, but when we arrived they couldn't find the reservation, the staff were not very friendly and the food... More

We arrived here last Saturday evening for supper. We were warmly greeted by a very cheerful lady and sat outside. We had fish, chips and peas, which was delicious (fresh local fish - beautifully cooked) all served with a bright smile. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at this pub, although I have to say it was ever so slightly marred... More

We visited the Witchball for a quick drink and decided to go back for lunch a few days later. The meals were delicious, I had fish and chips while my partner had the scampi...both were well cooked, freshly prepared and a reasonable price. But the highlight of the meal has to be the half pint of fresh prawns we shared... More

We were tempted by the sandwiches on offer for our lunch after a wander around Lizard Point and as they said they included "a handful of chips and some salad" it sounded ideal. Both our sandwiches were well filled, the chips were plentiful and hot, the salad was well balanced and lightly dressed, overall very pleasant and great value. Will... More
