Are second visit after visiting the previous year & just as good, amazing portion sizes which really hit the spot, we both enjoyed cream tea by the roaring fire! The owner even recognised us from the last time we visited which shows the care going in to this business we are sure if we are back down again, this will... More

I have decided to write this review in support of a previous reviewer who descrbed their scones as bread baps. I heartily agree. Nothing like a scone. In fact without the copious quantities of cream and jam they would not be edible. Very dry and bready. I've had better scones on motorway service stations. These are not scones. What a... More

Popped in today for a hot drink and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating! The two ladies were friendly but not intrusive. I asked for a white hot chocolate and at the last minute wanted to have soy milk instead of regular which they did no problem. The atmosphere was very relaxed and calm- perfect for a catch up... Lovely atmosphere but restricted seating so bear that in mind. Serves great snacks, freshly made, like Paninnis and sandwiches and rather decadent cakes. Great place for a quick snack or just a coffee and a chat with the rather crazy ladies (crazy is good believe me) who serve there.

After checking out reviews we went here for lunch. Lovely small coffee shop, great character and friendly staff. Coffee was good and the pannini's were lovely. Would recommend a visit.

Wow, now I don't do sweet stuff but hubby persuaded me to have a cream tea, when in Rome and all that. This tiny tea and coffee shop is a true slice of heaven not to be passed by.
