Visited for a birthday meal..... Food was ok, but lacked the homemade feel as some items were obviously frozen/pre-packed.... There was 9 of us in our group and the time between plates coming out meant those who got there food first were almost halfway through the meal by the time the 9th was served (hence only scored 4)... Otherwise it... More

Decent menu and usually well cooked, but service level is a bit hit and miss and value for money has dropped off over the last couple of years. But take it for what it is, basic pub grub, it is ok.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Food served in good time even though the pub was quite busy and most importantly the food was hot fresh and delicious. Will definitely be going back..

Food is always cooked and served really well, meals are good value for money, even the small meals, and the staff can't do enough for you.

Went in for lunch to meet up with friends that live local. We found everything was excellent. Really liked the new refurbished pub. Staff very helpful and friendly. Was impressed with the guy walking around (guessing the new manager) checking everything. Having been in the trade for 40 years could see this pub/restaurant is being run very well. Prices are...
