The Holmbush Inn is a well run St.Austell Brewery Inn. The staff are friendly and as always the new refurbished pub will not suit everyone tastes. Some reviews are just but at moment there are for example no curtains so yes it does feel a little cold and stark. The new team are friendly and are determined to make the... More

Been in tonight and after seeing some of the previous posts, I was a bit apprensive, but it was fine, warm cosy, good welcome... New managers are going to take awhile, ( and especially after following Peter) but they are welcoming, the food is fine. It's had a nice refresh, and will be better when the curtains are up.

The Holmbush Inn is a great family pub that serves nice food and drink by friendly hard working staff. Myself and my children always enjoy our meals here and would recommend it to anybody. Well done to all at The Holmbush Inn.

First time in after the refurbishment, so lets give it a chance but cannot agree with other post refurb reviews here - New décor & still great standard of food & drink. New management of Kev & Claire doing a grand job. Called mid pm on a Monday and plenty of customers enjoying the food & drink. Good value dishes... More

Been here several times with my family of varying ages (babies, kids, teenagers, adults) and the menus have something for everyone. Dedicated kids menu that comes with some colouring pencils and puzzles etc to keep the kids amused. All my family have gone away satisfied with their meals, I always go for the baked potato with cheese, tuna, spring onion... More

Its been a few years since I've been here, so instead of the usual places to eat I thought we'd try the Holmbush again. Here, you grab a table and then order from the bar. Ordering was quick, and the cashier catered for our requirements. I'd ordered the Steak & Ale pie, as much as the staff said it's one... More

Have been here a few times and never disappoints. Well priced, good selection and above average food portions. Would recommend for lunch or evening, steaks are always cooked exactly to taste

Went here one evening with my Boyfriend. We weren't sure what to expect but the selection on the menu was very good. Average pricing and the food was very nice. Only tiny criticism would be we had to wait quite a while at the bar before we were served.
