Last night in St austell

The service was very good staff very attentive. The food was excellent large portions, although a little expensive cooked very well by someone who understands flavour combination. I had butternut squash soup to start and hake fillets for main really enjoyable.

Drove past several times while on holiday and it didn't attract us from the outside. Booked on our last night and was very impressed. Nice interior, good menu, reasonable prices ,friendly service and very good food

Tried to get in last time we were on holiday here but it was fully booked. After eating here you can see why you need to book. The food is amazing. We had duck pancakes and squid for starters. I had the Wednesday night special surf and turf, the wife had the mixed seafood. The kids menu is basic but... More

Huge portion sizes of standard rate food. Had to send back the first course as it was cold. Staff were pleasant, but very busy. We were seated opposite the kitchen door with waiting staff walking past constantly. Not an enjoyable meal

Another excellent visit to one of my favourite restaurants. The monkfish curry was delicious and full of flavour.

We ended up at Kingswood purely because we had been driving around various places looking for somewhere that had space. And we're so glad we ended up there! The service was excellent, as was the food. We had beef arancini balls and salt and Szechuan pepper squid to start. For mains steak and crab/mussel linguine. The portions were huge so... More
