An unexpected find!

We had a great lunch yesterday on 15th March having walked in with no prior knowledge. What really stood out was the really lovely, friendly service we received from both the young waiter and the young waitress which made us feel very welcome! The menu had something for everybody. 3rd visit here. Cream tea is good. Large warm scone with plenty of jam and cream. Nice inside with good views of Charlestown which is a lovely harbour. Nice little seating area outside.

What a little gem! Ok, so it's March and not that busy but I arrived solo for an early dinner and the staff were friendly and helpful, giving me a choice of tables and as it turned out a great vantage point to watch other diners! The food was superb, I ordered the sea bass with scallops and spinach from... More

Lucky enough to have had a gorgeous sunny day and along with that some lovely food. We were lucky enough to get the offer 2 for £25 however would happily have paid for. We both had seafood and as always tasted Devine. Thank you so much would highly recommend

Well prepared food. Warm and inviting on a cold spring day. I had the Fish Pie, it was good and vegetables fresh and tasty. My wife had the Fresh Fish Fillets a combo dish of Salmon Cod and Haddock with salad. We enjoyed a super late lunch including 2 large glasses of very good white wine for £28-30p. Tremendous value.... We arrived at 7:45 looking forward to a romantic valentines meal for 2... With 2 children its a rare occasion. We were greated with our drinks and the complementary olives and bread ect which were pleasant, however whilst these were still on the table we were presented with starters and then the whole evening was rushed and food was disappointing!... My husband and I have been here a few times now and love it. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and now recognise us when we come in. The food is always fresh and cooked to the highest standards and portions very generous especially the cakes. My favourite is the lemon and mascapone cheesecake. Yum. I will keep coming... More

We visited here on Fri 20th Feb 2015 for lunch and a coffee. The sandwiches with chips were very god. They also offered a good choice of seaford dishes. Service was friendly and efficient. Good place for lunch.
