Wonderful seafood in a lovely location

While on holiday in Cornwall, this became our new favourite restaurant. The choice and quality of seafood was wonderful on both occasions that we visited. The mussels and calamari were faultless. The service was good overall, however it did fade a bit on our second visit. We will certainly... read more

Charlestown is delightful. We had a good lunch here but it was very crowded and quite expensive for what we had.

Went there with my wife for dinner. Awesome food, excellent service. Can't recommend it highly enough. I was expecting a simple dinner, but this was of a far higher standard.

We managed to get a table just after 1900, booking recommended as we saw at least 20 people turned away while we were there. Great menu plus specials board The food is excellent, well cooked to perfection, presentation is perfect and the staff are friendly and helpful. The portions are generous, but not OTT. Highly recommended if you are in... More

The best sited of the eating options in Charlestone harbour with outside tables to watch life on the quay. A very wide and worthwhile menu and a convenient stop en route to Heligan.

Visited on a very rainy august day and was looking forward to the soup that some of our party had ordered when they arrived earlier. Disappointed to then be told then had none left at 2pm. Nachos were ok, calamari was ok and customer service was pleasant. Had to sit in a wind battered gazebo as there was no room... More

We arrived without a booking for 10 people which they accommodated for us. The food was lovely, the service was a little slow but it was quite busy. A great addition would be a colouring in menu for the children but not a big deal.

Found this restaurant through Trip adviser and pre booked for three. Me the Wife and 10 year old daughter. Great choice for my daughter as they do smaller portions of adult meals which other restaurants should do more often . We all had starters main and 2 puddings and coffee . The food was very good we all really enjoyed... More
