While on a weeks holiday in November, staying in a local 4 star hotel we went for a meal to Wreckers. We fond the staff and atmosphere both great. The food was the best we had all week. The toilets were very nicely fitted out and very clean. We would strongly recommend Wreckers.

While on a visit to Charlestown (13/11/2015) we were struck by the urge for a Cornish cream tea (which we buggered up by putting cream on first, therefore it was a Devonshire cream tea...but I digress :-) ) We saw Wreckers and decided it would do....and by eck did it do!! We took our seats and were promptly presented with... More

Booked in advance and made a wise choice of the fillet steak. Food and service were excellent. Took some friends who had come to visit, they too were very happy with this restaurant. Will go again.

My partner and I visited Wreckers on a Tuesday in November and expected the place to be quiet. In stead there were quite a lot of Diners which is a good sign. We were not disappointed as the food we had was very good. My Sea Bass and fresh Scollops were cooked to perfection and my partner was very impressed... More

Booked a table for a family meal. Sullen bored waitress who just pointed to our table and was very indifferent. Soon we were greeted by a most friendly and helpful waiter/manager who did everything to make our visit enjoyable. This restaurant specialises in fish and these are to be recommended as excellent. However my vegetarian meal was one of the... More

Out of season but still busy in the evening. A fish restaurant but choices on the menu for non fish likers. Good selection of specials using locally sourced fish. Service was attentive and good. Nice selection of wines that were not overpriced. Not fine dining but a very pleasing dining experience. Would recommend and return.

We chose "Wreckers Bistro" to mark the end of our short get away on Cornwall The menu offered fresh fish and Steak which the whole family would enjoy We made our reservation and confirmed that scallops and fillet steak would be available- we couldn't wait to try the menu and reminisce the last five days in Cornwall For starters we... I went for dinner with my family last night. I ordered gnochi which was okay not great. However my husband ordered grilled bass with pan seared scallops which was delicious.
