We arrived early afternoon but, owing to the volume of tourists probably, there was not enough choice of cakes on display so we had rather dry Bakewell tart and tea for two. The waitresses appeared to be rushed off their feet so I'd suggest that the owners employed more if them (their prices are rather high so they could afford... More

Went for lunch, two adults and a 14 month old. Restaurant was quiet when we arrived so chose to sit outside. Staff were welcoming and helpful, service was quick, especially with the child's meal. Meals were well cooked, and although a little pricier than some other places in the vicinity, we thought it was good value. The outside seating area... More

This is a great little local restaurant. The menu varies but always with a consistent offering of fresh fish dishes (we recommend the sea bass with butternut squash and spinach, or roast cod and bacon). You'll have to search for better fish 'n' chips too. Desserts are average with the exception of the fine selection of freshly baked cakes. There... More

All in all an excellent restaurant, even if service was a little slow. However this didn't detract from the fact that the staff were very helpful and the food and range of meals excellent. The baked crab pot with padano cheese starter was amazing.

Fabulous food, delicious fish and chips for my son, great variety on my husband's fish platter and my haddock and garlic prawns were very tasty. Desserts were equally good, tastiest treacle tart I've had for s very long time! Excellent meal, staying in Charlestown on holiday but wish we lived a bit closer.

Three of us ate here on Sunday night and it was a superb experience in every way. We happened to all order different courses (great choice on the menu, including for the veggie) and every one of the 9 dishes was really excellent. We even managed to share a cheeseboard after our desserts too, also great. The atmosphere was perfect,... More

We ate here twice and despite being sceptical as they offer so much (breakfast, snacks, lunch, meals, afternoon tea, cakes etc) it was really good. The outside space is great as there is sun and shade. The food was really good, we had the fish pots and they were delicious, I just wish we had a bit more crusty bread... More
