We visited Austell's after strong recommendation by neighbours and looking at other reviews expectations were high. To be clear the food and service was good and the price was reasonable for the high quality provided. The choice and range of the menu was modest but this is partly explained by the size of the venue (it's fairly small). However Austell's... More

Ignore the fact that this restaurant is located in a drab suburban parade of shops and go for the high quality fine dining experience. I had the £45 tasting menu which comprised six generous and tasty dishes. The only very small niggle was the slowness of service. Our waitress apologised several times during the course of the evening for the... More

Incredible food and service, the whole experience was wonderful! The dishes were inventive without being pretentious or weird, and the flavours and textures all worked perfectly. A truly talented chef! Cannot recommend highly enough

Popular with really creative offerings on the menu. Service is very friendly and efficient and the food was extremely well prepared and presented. The sea bass was delicious.

Nice fine dining restaurant. Staff is very friendly and the food is very good. The chef was with the fish and layered potatoe too abundant with the salt. As we mentioned this to the waitress, the manager reacted straight away and thanked us for the feedback.

We have been eating at Austells whenever we are in Cornwall, and the experience has never been less than astounding and outstanding. The food prepared by Brett is truly amazing and it's excellence is enhanced by the way he interacts with the diners if one's table is close enough to the open kitchen. He is informative and entertaining at the... More

Our second visit to 2 Rosette restaurant Austells. Wasn't disappointed. I had a main of seafood pasta: fresh, tasty and a huge portion that unfortunately I just couldn't finish. My partner had a beef main which he said was delicious. Good prices to suit different budgets which shows good insight and attracts a range of custom. The service was attentive... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hosts. Where do I begin!!! From entering to leaving was a memorable experience. The service was exceptional and caring and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was well thought out with most product locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The popularity is such that bookings are advised on all days of... More
