We went to scoobies at the beginning of our holiday, the food was gorgeous and the people were lovely. Small friendly place and good prices for the size of the portion you get!

Have eaten at Scoobies before. In fact we travel a distance to get there, but we hadn't been for a while and the difference is very noticeable. What have you done with the great burgers you were selling? They were so much better than the burgers we ate today. Today burgers actually had nasty hard bits in them, which bore a... More

This was the only chippy open in the town on a Sunday afternoon and we thought it looked nice. The staff were friendly but the food was awful. The batter was soggy, the chips were horrible, as if they were quite old. The menu is extensive, including pizzas and burgers but maybe they should focus on getting the basics right... More

We are a family of 5 and just fancied a takeaway back at the caravan. We always look on trip advisor and decided to go for scoobies as it had such great reviews. We were very disappointed. The burger was very bland. The scampi was burnt. We love our food and appreciate good food but this was certainly not good.... More

Great little chip shop with a menu to match, something for everyone the kids loved it, burgers one night pizza the next. The fish & chips were lovely too nice & crisp. The staff were very pleasant chatting away with customers. I would wholly recommend this place well worth a visit

Used this shop for the last 10 years my family have grown up on Scoobie's on Friday nights. Its never let us down food always freshly cooked the kitchen is always clean & tidy, great friendly service. The last 12 months apart from our weekly burger and chicken run we now use Scoobie's as our favoured fish and chip shop... More

Just visited this place and what a complete waste of money. The chips were awful (only ate one) I find it difficult to believe they were made fresh and the batter on the fish wasn't cooked, my wife didn't even touch hers, both portions were put in the bin untouched. Not hard to cook decent fish and chips .
