We walked into Mevagissey at the advice of a local to eat here. The seafood stew was exceptional. Melt in the mouth mussels, prawns, fish, calamari and langoustines all bathed in a tomato sauce served with massive chunks of bread for ''dipping' My partner's steak was equally good in quality and quantity!

Great night here with the family - the restaurant upstairs is cosy, food is delicious and the service was friendly. Look forward to visiting again.

We found this pub quite by accident on the first of our two night stay in Mevagissey. Lovely place, very small and old fashioned but a welcome change from the branded rubbish we see in pubs these days! We wanted back in time, and thats what we got. They serve a variety of real ales, all very well kept. Two... More

My wife and I popped in for a bite to eat and had the freshly caught Mackerel served with chips and salad. A simple dish but very very tasty! 6 Mackerel fillets served with the crispest chunky chips (may have been triple cooked but unsure). Would recommend to anyone :-)

This was one of the best finds in Cornwall! Great authentic Pub, excellent service and the food...to die for. You must try the seafood stew, fresh, amazing and you won't belive the size of this dish. It was a great meal and I would highly recommend.

Went here with the kids and found it one of the best value eateries in Mevagissey. Portions were a good size, happily did smaller portions of most of the adult dishes for the kids and they were a good size too as our kids are at the in between stage between kids and adults meals. Good beer and good service,... More

From the outside I couldn't imagine how nice this pub would be when we went in. A small room which was very cosy and a classic pub experience.

We ate here twice, both times, upstairs in the restaurant. The food is great and a good choice. My only slight disappointment was the Eaton Mess wasn't a mess as it should have been! Great choice of local fish dises which were lovely.
