OK restaurant with OK Food

As far as restaurants in the harbour area are concerned, it's ok. However, the service was far from ideal and the food wasn't special.

The food was well cooked, well presented and full of flavour. Don't expect large portions, just savour the dishes.

Called here on the off chance and they managed to squeeze us in. Food and service both excellent, views over harbour were picturesque. Definitely recommend if in the area,

This is very much a traditional seaside pub/restaurant but serves good food (with seafood specials depending upon season/catch of the day). They welcome well-behaved dogs and if you venture upstairs there is a life-sized carving of a pirate which makes for a good photo opportunity for the kids. Very friendly.

We enjoyed our cod mornay so much that we returned to eat it again 2 days later. You can eat well in Mevagissey.

Right on the harbour in mevagissey this is a buzzing friendly restaurant which is also dog friendly. Had a pleasant meal here. Plenty of choice and a good wine list. Only downside is that you have to use plastic glasses if you want an after dinner bottle outside... Probably not their fault, the council need to rethink

Looking for somewhere to eat by Mevagissey Harbour at about 2. Despite the numerous signs outside offering cream teas, a sign on the bar said they'd sold out. Dark, cramped and lots of uncleared tables. We sat down to look at the not terribly inspiring menu and after about ten minutes a whey-faced harpy clearing the table next to ours... More

Good food with a great atmosphere. The staff are fairly attentive even when busy. They have a good selection of fish and seafood dishes.
