Great food, great staff

Just had another week in Mevagissey. Always go to the Sharksfin Restaurant for our evening meals and this year was the best yet. On a cold blustery day, we really appreciated the warm friendly atmosphere of the Sharksfin restaurant, looking all the better for its recent makeover, We booked a late Sunday carvery but I have to say that even though it was coming towards the end of the carvery session the quality of the food did not diminish, it was quite superb,... Went for a 3 day break to just outside Mevagissey. We ate at the Sharksfin for two of those nights. Food was amazing, service was 1st class & the location was outstanding. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Loved the decor and the feel of the place. Also dog friendly which I have noted for our next trip with the... More

We were visiting for the weekend and this was recommended by the guests at the hotel we were staying in. Great atmosphere, good choice, really fresh fish, we had a great time. We wish we had places like this to eat in where we live!

We found the staff brilliant and really friendly and dog friendly too. The quality of the food, to be honest was not what I expected. We ordered the prawns wrapped in bacon with fries and side salad. Half the plate was covered in obviously frozen chips and the £13.95 was a trite to much for 8 prawns. , although they... More

This was our fourth or fifth visit to the Sharksfin and yet again it didn't let us down! They have had a slight makeover which means we could not have our favourite tall table but as we soon found out...the food is as good as ever. You just have to have fish..all caught locally and fresh. Service good and just... More

This place is overlooking the harbour and had a good variety to choose from - lots of fresh fish and unusual dishes. Relaxed and family friendly and chic too.

3 adults and 4 children popped in for a Sunday lunch - we had a variety of meals, all lovely well cooked and service was spot on. The view of the harbour was a bonus - would go again!

Great place for either a meal or just a coffee. Excellent location looking out over harbour. Excellent décor and a very relaxed atmosphere. On each of our visits, the staff were very efficient and always smiling, even on Mothers Day when the place was heaving. Only had one meal but that was great and the Cajun influenced menu was extensive.... More
