Looks can be deceiving!

What a gem this turned out to be. Descending off the coastal path towards Mawgan Porth, there sitting at the head of the beach is this unassuming café in the midst of a string of other eateries. We had a disappointing dining experience in Off The Beach at Easter last year, however as we were staying in Mawgan Porth we thought we would give them a second chance. Coming off the beach we were looking forward to hot drinks so called in and ordered 8 hot chocolate drinks and 1 latte. The latte was fine but the... More

Very friendly, very pleasing on the eye and not crazy prices. Super view of the beach from the outside seating area. Just perfect. Tea £2.10 - not too shabby for a pot.

We went for a family dinner at off the beach on Easter Sunday (after participating in their Annual Easter Egg hunt on the beach earlier that day) and it was a very good experience all round. The staff (new girl from Amsterdam especially) were very friendly and accommodating. The food was extremely tasty - I can highly recommend the sweet... More

Found this restaurant/bar by accident on Easter Sunday and we were very glad that we did! What a little gem. The roast dinner and chocolate brownies were delicious The atmosphere was amazing and the live band were fabulous. The staff were very friendly too. We really didn't want to leave. This place is definitely worth a visit :-)

We popped in here after a long coastal walk, accompanied by a tired mut. Due to the beachside location and casual atmosphere we were certainly not expecting such an interesting and varied menu! The quality of food and service really was amongst the best we have ever had! We went for a traditional roast, but it was anything but traditional!... More

We had Mothers Day here last weekend and had probably the best roast dinner we've had anywhere. Lovely atmosphere with live music that was just beautiful. The décor is gorgeous, light, bright and coastal but with a cosy feel with all the cushions and lights. We came to the Beach Clean and BBQ yesterday. Such a fun place to just... More
