Carrot cake to die for!...

We were staying near Morgan Porth in October and before doing a coastal path walk to Watergate Bay, decided to have coffee at Off the Beach. Although nothing much from the outside, as soon as we stepped inside, the atmosphere was cosy and service was friendly. A cappuccino and carrot cake set us up... read more

After a very long journey from East Sussex, taking the dogs on the beach and waiting to check into our Barn. We received a very warm welcome here, nothing was too much, not even the fact our son hates chips! yes he does not eat chips :-) Very obliging and did him rice. We ate here twice and took away... Visited this place whilst on holiday and staying in Mawgan Porth, lovely setting, right near the beach and the outside seating area gets the sun for most of the day. Didn't eat there just had drinks but the food looks great, reasonably priced to boot!! Can't wait to go back.

My chai latte was just what the doctor ordered, even though it wasn't on the menu. Good cake and looks like a good place to eat.

We ordered some full English breakfasts and a veggie breakfast. All really tasty. Big pots of tea instead of a tiny cup. Would certainly recommend this place for breakfast.

I thoroughly agree with an earlier review - three of us went as a last minute booking for dinner tonight, and although it was quiet ( due to the rugby match no doubt - England vs Australia is on), there was a friendly, welcoming vibe. We had three delicious main courses - the biggest, freshest pail of mussels I've ever... More

Stopped at off the beach for a drink. Had a long wait for a drink even though it was quite. Staff did not seem to have a system in place and I was left waiting when people behind me got served before me even though I just ordered a herbal tea. Did want to chance ordering food because of the... More

I came for lunch and supper and loved it, wished I'd discovered it earlier in the holiday! The menu is good, pub restaurant type classics and some more adventurous cooking which is well done. The staff are super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There is a big basket of toys, colouring books and stickers for kids which... More

On the beach at Mawgan Porth and popped in at lunch. Had lovely fish finger sandwich with chips. My son had the crab sandwich and said it was great. Out of season so easy to get seats. Service good, only criticism was that having not got any cutlery was told where I had to go and get it. Popped back... More
