Great chilled place to visit after walking from Watergate Bay and needed a rest. Staff very helpful and welcomed the dog and enjoyed sunshine on a comfy sofa

The staff were very friendly and they had a good range of locally produced, freshly cooked food. The breakfast was very tasty.

We stopped here on a sunny Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a fabulous cream tea and cider. Our teenagers thought it was really cool with good music (Marc Bolan) and so were educated in more ways than one! We loved it so much we returned to sup a pint on another slightly more windy afternoon. David Bowie educated our boys this... More

Very informal restaurant recently taken over. Small but good menu choices serving local sourced food fresh and reasonable prices for this part of Cornwall.

We went a few times last week, the last time on Saturday night, and we found the food and service excellent and the staff attentive, helpful and knowledgable about the menu. Really enjoyed the Penang beef curry special. Looking forward to eating here again when we next visit in October.

We visited this restaurant without kids to have a rare and special meal out as adults only. The food was amazing we ordered salt and pepper squid and then we had steaks and the pork dish. We all commented it was one of the best meals we had had in ages! It was all going so well... And then the... More

We visited here on a number of occasions whilst on holiday, the outside seating was lovely, the breakfast was scrummy, especially the pancakes! Lots of food and drink options and reasonable prices, would definitely visit again.

When we're on holiday we are never organised enough to book something in advance, so 6 of us struck really lucky arriving at this restaurant at 6.30 on a Saturday & getting a table. We are regulars in Mawgan Porth & ate many times here when it was called Fire. It's had a refurb, the feel is more nautical &... More

We went mid afternoon on a beautiful day. We ordered beef burgers which were delicious and very tasty. Homemade carrot and coriander soup which was lovely. A beef and horseradish wrap which was lovely too. Prices were average but good value as hearty portions. Great music and atmosphere we enjoyed the Bowie! Would recommend.

Came for lunch with two young children in august, so nice we went back a second time. Had burgers from the BBQ + fish'n chips, very good. It's semi self service and not very cheap. Our kids especially enjoyed the soft rock played on the patio. I understand it's an evening favourite with locals. We saw surfers, families, bikers -... More
