Friendly service in this informal bar and cafe / restaurant next to the beach which had been refurbished since our visit last year. We tried the homemade Goan fish curry and a vegetarian pizza, washed down with white wine and a pint or two of Cornish lager. Good sized portions. We only just had space to share a berry Eton... We visited in September whilst staying up the hill. 4 of us went for dinner and sat inside (there is also outside seating for warmer evenings). The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious, with lots of options on the menu. Reasonably priced for the standard and a lovely place to spend an evening. Highly recommend.

Arrived in Cornwall earlier that usual and needed some quick and delicious revival food, nipped into the cafe and was served a juicy, tasty sausage bap, basis I hear you say but a good banger is hard to find, this with a dollop of ketchup and a mug of tea started the day of a treat.

Great, reasonably priced food. Good also for kids. We had burger and home made chips, really good. Although busy service was very good. Views of Watergate bay are outstanding.

After curry at the Merrymoor the night before, we made the essential booking for a peak season Saturday night dinner at this restaurant. It's got a lovely fresh, casual seaside atmosphere. The food is lovely. It's busy, so not quiet and the tables are quite close together so feels a bit cramped but quality food with very friendly service. We... More

Myself and two friends walked down for a late breakfast on Sunday morning. We each had a cooked breakfast and agreed that it was one of the best breakfasts weve had out in a long time! There were quite a few other tables but the service was quick and friendly. We sat on the benches outside in the sun and... More
