I came here with my mum for lunch whilst she was on the hunt for more flowers. It is such a lovely nursery with fantastic views across the countryside and you can even see restormal castle. The food was delicious, really nicely decorated and friendly staff. The shop sells some lovely little gifts too. The toilets are also worth a... More

My husband and I have always visited the excellent Duchy Nursery on our regular visits to Cornwall. The new Duchy Cafe now makes a visit doubly worthwhile. We visited twice during our recent holiday and on each occasion the cafe was full but the staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. The lunch menu was varied and interesting and the food... More

The nursery has a large range of plants including many rare and exotic species which makes it a special place to visit for anyone with a passion for plants. The new shop and cafe building is beautiful. It is also situated in a stunning location. The cafe provides good basic meals when open. The lunch time menu offers a good... More

Can't fault this place but arrive before 12 to avoid the rush if you're there for lunch...creative menu and everything freshly made. Bring back the scallops and chorizo!

Was a very nice nursery, in a beautiful location. The walk to the nursery from the cottages was definitely worth it. Unfortunately we didn't feel the cafe lived up to the hype, service wasn't what we had expected.

This was a lovely cream tea and although quite pricey was worth every penny. The other dishes we saw looked and smelled delicious. Superb service and delightful setting.

One of the great joys of the UK countryside is the plethora of nursery-gardens with cafes. National Trust properties are undeniable favorites, but there are many private venues, like this one, which are almost without exception viewsome and delightful. Open, bright, airy, with really good cream teas and desserts, it's well worth the trip up the hill from Lostwithiel to... More

Every time my family come down to visit a lunch at the Duchy is a must. The shop is full of tempting but extortionately overprices goods, but the cafe serves wonderful food at reasonable prices for the area. The seating is comfortable and views over Restormel castle are beautiful.

We went to the cafe for a snack and ended up staying for a few hours - the coffee and food were great (particularly the desserts), the nursery was well stocked and the shop had a broad range of items including clothes and an interesting gifts.
