Very popular pub. Went as group of 7, this included 2 children under age of 8. The pub was friendly and staff very accommodating. Food was fresh and of a sizeable portion so be aware if you are ordering a starter. Popular with locals who were also very friendly.

A very good Sunday roast freshly cooked. Service was attentive from the young undergraduate waiter. There was a strong cool breeze through the open door. Unfortunately our table was in its path. It became more irritating as time passed. I should have made a bigger fuss and moved. So my main tip is avoid tables near the entrance.

My family and I enjoyed a fabulous lunch at the Crows Nest Inn. You certainly wouldn't stumble over this classic village pub but it was well worth travelling to find. Staff were very helpful and friendly, atmosphere was great and very relaxed and food was absolutely delicious. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and managed to find space... More

After a morning in the lower reaches of Bodmin Moor discovering this little gem was wonderful. Good ales and ciders on offer, good range of top quality food - the best pub food I have eaten. Friendly service, leisurely pace but with the wonderful atmosphere of a typically old English pub we didn't mind. Absolutely excellent. Would go out of... More

An absolutely quintessential English pub - excellent range of hand-pulled beers, all delicious (casque-mark award granted); marvellous food in all respects and a lovely relaxed atmosphere without any sense of urgency or hurry at all. Set in a very picturesque Cornish village too. Perfect for a relaxed lunch any day of the week.

We went here to celebrate the buying of a house. The landlord was very accommodating and friendly and the food was great. My daughter and I had a meze of starters, which all were tasty.

We were on holiday in cornwall, and read about this place on trip advisor. When we arrived we had a friendly greeting, and we were lucky they had a table spare. We were then invited to join in with pub quiz which we did and had great fun (We came last!). The food was excellent. With the prices possibly a... More

A little out of the way, but offers very nice food. The waitress was very friendly, but somewhat slow.
