We had dinner here one night then went back for lunch! The service is good and the food is superb! If you are in the area, you must try it!!!

Had friends down (with a dog) and needed somewhere with a bit of character for the evening. Phoned through the reservation due to the group size. Arrived to pub and not disappointed. Great décor inside which well impressed the visitors. Staff very friendly and joined in the fun with the group (don't mention the dog !). Meals were great with... More

The menu under the new owners is great pub food at a good price. The fish and chips was an enormous portion, the fish had a lovely crispy batter. The home made burger was on a crunchy warm bread roll and was close to the 'Sam's' burgers we all adore in Cornwall. The landlord is friendly and explained that they... More

Pretty pub in the heart of the Cornish countryside. Super menu, with some thing for all tastes and nothing too much trouble. Landlord also serves up a great glass of Pimms. Nice outdoor seating area. And with lunch and drinks for 4 coming in under £50 great value too.

This pub is pretty local to me, just about 5 miles away. It has to be said that the selection of pubs around this part of Bodmin isn't that great. Mediocre food, lacking in atmosphere and generally uninspiring. The Crows Nest stands out a mile as being by far the best. For a start it's in a great setting -... More

Although it was a limited menu and my first choice was off food was obviously cooked from scratch, was hot and tasty. Service was good but more information such as garlic bread being part of main meal would have prevented my husband ordering a side of garlic bread. They were good portions. It is a small pub so to guarantee... More

Checked out trip advisor to find this one. Great little pub with all the traditional appeal of a 16th century inn. The menu was a step above most pub fare and arrived perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and in a timely fashion. A small mix up over the order was dealt with efficiently and good naturedly by the landlord, All in... More

We were recommended the Crows Nest Inn when we were staying at St Cleer for a couple of nights on a visit to Liskeard. The landlord, who has only recently taken over the pub, has some great local beers and offers good, freshly cooked food from a small but appetizing menu. There was nothing not to like - except that... More

My partner and I recently went to The Crows' Nest near Liskeard with my parents for an early birthday celebration and I'm really glad we did. We all had something different to eat and it was difficult to see who had the best meal as it was all superb. I had the homemade burger and chips and I think the... More
