Been meaning to try this place for a while. Hidden away in the hamlet of Crows Nest just along from Tremar and Darite its well worth finding. Cozy, charismatic pub, its long and narrow with a specific dining room and a bar area which also serves food. Take your pick where to sit but it may be worthwhile booking ahead... More

Lovely little pub in the middle of nowhere but with good beer and delicious food. Cozy and quaint but did get a feel it is the preserve of locals, especially on a Friday night. Packed around the bar when we arrived and nobody wanted to move to allow access to the bar to order a drink and they all appeared... More

I do like this pub, pretty and welcoming. Good food, fairly priced, good sized portions and average priced, nice drinks. Martin and Jenny are the owners and they are always accommodating and friendly. They are always happy to help and book our tables for the quiz. Keep going :)

Old style pub with blazing open fire. Very friendly welcome. Meal was lovely; good taste and beautifully presented. Brilliant service. Lots of car parking.

There’s nothing quite like a seat next to a roaring fire in a traditional country pub which serves wholesome home cooked food and real ales and beers. Sadly, these rural inns are becoming a thing of the past, but thankfully the Crows Nest Inn is thriving. Reputedly a former Mine Captain’s house and pay office for the local copper mines,... More

Called in on Christmas Eve lunch time and it was packed. When we saw the meals being served we wished we'd had the foresight to reserve a table, the food looked so so good. This time we had to be satisfied with the scrummy mulled cider , sat outside in the winter sunshine resting our feet after an exhilarating trek... More

We had a great Sunday lunch in a lovely traditional style pub this weekend. Staff, service and the food were all great. Huge portions and really tasty food. Warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended for a cosy visit.

Had a lovely lunch with my wife and a couple of friends. Adequate menu with food cooked to perfection. Attentive waitress. Nothing bad to say. A lovely experience.

Very mixed. Starters were good. Son's chicken was still red in the middle. My veg were not even shown the water or steam. I like barely done vegetables but these weren't done at all. Son's pudding was good but the brown sugar had not even been melted on the creme brulee. Service was ok but there were several items not... More
