Really impressive home made cauliflower ravioli. Delicious and perfectly executed. A real treat and beautifully presented. Cosy and elegant pub. Thoroughly recommended!

Stayed in later November on a business trip. Very accommodating team which catered to our needs. Good selection of food on the menu and a well stocked bar.

We booked this venue back in April to help with our August 2014 wedding, and were really impressed with it. However, email after email went unanswered and promises of quoting for this and that never happened. Eventually we made a trip in August mainly to follow this up. We got more promises of emails 'soon' which never came, and lots... More

We stumbled on this pub by chance during our holiday. It looked so cosy that we couldn't resist stopping in. What was supposed to be a quick drink before heading home turned into a fantastic meal. The duck risotto was to die for, and my other half loved the pork tostada - we were disappointed to be too full for... More

We often dine at the Prince before the quiz on a Sunday night, the food is really good, and they do a full menu, not just a roast dinner. They always cater for vegetarians. The food is flavoursome and well presented whether in the pub or the side restaraunt. The pub has lots of events and publishes a list, unfortunately... More

Thank you for your lovely comments about our food and events, we are pleased you enjoy them. Apologies that our website was not up to date during the summer, I am sure that you can appreciate that it is sometimes very difficult to find the time to do this during busy periods as we are only a small business. We... More

Went here for a meal on our last night in Cornwall. It had been recommended by others. The food was good and the dog was allowed in. It is very clean and good menu. It wasn't busy for a Saturday night and the service was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I dined here on Friday 13th September on the recommendation of June from Treggadra Farm. The meal was excellent. My wife had plaice stuffed with salmon mousse and I had a venison casserole with mustard mash. Both served with season vegetables. Each dish was excellent. As was the service from all staff. This was a really nice... More

The pub was attractive both outside and in and the staff welcoming and helpful, however I was very disappointed by the quality of the food and the length of time I had to wait as the pub wasn't busy and we were dining early evening at the beginning of service. Both the starter and main were mediocre and we felt... More

We ate here tonight on August bank holiday Monday evening. Very busy but efficient, attentive service. Worth the wait for food as it is obviously all freshly prepared. Good sized portions and great quality. Nice beer garden and professional staff. If you are going as a couple, try and sit at table 5, it's tucked away in a quiet corner... More

I guess you always expect something and the look of the pub, with its excellent parking, and superb outside seating area was not matched by the service and food. Had to wait quite a while for food to arrive, and when it did it was average. A touch disappointing, but I will try here again to see if I just... More
