I only had a bowl of chips, but my partner Francis had a crab sandwich, and we both agreed that it was excellent food. Turned out to be a lovely little gem of cafe located in the bottom of Cadgewith. The local culture, especially the gig rowing that take place, has always fascinated me. We had a lovely waitress, blonde... More

Service with a smile was exactly what me and my kids received during our lunch. The waitress was quite young, under 18 I think, but she was so lovely to my son and daughter, grinning at them as she served their milkshakes, which were very good. The views from the gateway is lovely and so authenticly Cornish, and my cream... More

We have been visiting Cadgwith for a number of years and a visit would not be complete without crab sandwiches for lunch at the Old Cellars restaurant. The sandwiches are stuffed full of the finest, freshest, white crab meat and are served with salad garnish which is equally fresh. Service is helpful and friendly. Price of the sandwiches is not... We've eaten lunch here several times in years past, and were not disappointed this time either. All the food appears to be, and tastes, freshly-prepared. It may be standard Cornish pub fare, but is none the worse for that, and it's done consistently well. They were quite busy on this occasion (it was a sunny day and there aren't many... More

Enjoyed one of the best prawn baguettes I have ever eaten here! Quaint setting, loads of outside seating, fast & friendly service. Good value.

I have just returned from walking around cornwall for a week. 11 miles a day and reviewing pubs and restaurants along the way. This is by far the worst experience i have ever had let alone just on the holiday. We walked in to place our order and was greeted by a very miserable young man, at this point we... More

The Old Cellars is a really quaint pub/restaurant in Cadgwith Cove and it had a really lovely seating area in their cobbled courtyard, perfect for the sunny day we were there! The food was really quick to arrive and was lovely! We looked over at some of the other people's meals which came out and they all looked amazing too!... More

Cafe by day and Restaurant by night, the Old Cellars provides good food for anyone passing through or staying in Cadgwith. The service is quick - but the food is always of excellent quality. Marvellous fish and chips, crab sandwiches, or inventive evening meals. The atmosphere is delightful and eating out in the heart of the village is always a... More

Staying in Cadgwith and had lunch today in the courtyard of the Old Cellars. Food and service very good and the surrounding typically quaint Cornwall. May even be tempted to try a dessert next tome !
