Had excellent dinner here whilst staying in Cadgwith. I had been craving pizza and wasn't disappointed. Other half had seafood casserole which he said was excellent. Lots to choose from as specials board had at least 7 starters & mains as well as normal menu.

Stopped here for lunch and what a find... Lovely atmosphere and though it was only scrambled egg on toast, it was scrummy! Wasps caused a little setback but that is not the fault of the restaurant. Would return like a shot!

I stayed with friends in a well located cottage literally 15 yards away (Pebbles has fantastic reviews on Tripadvisor but needs extensive refurbishment in my opinion) so this pub/restaurant was a must visit. We dined here on one night and the food was acceptable - local really fresh fish cooked reasonably well - not cheap but OK. They only open... More

My partner and I visited this lovely restaurant in Cadgwith. We ordered the cream tea for two. A lovely waitress served us with warm scones, butter, lashings of strawberry jam and clotted cream. My partner had a latte but I opted for the English tea, Superb !!! Fortunately the restaurant is near to the coastal path so we were able... More

We set off on our first Holiday Walk to Cadgwith Cove, one and a quarter mile of some of the most beautiful scenary that this great nation of ours has to offer. And when we got to Cadgwith Cove we were not disappointed, what a lovely little Harbour Village ( I think that's the right term?). By the time we... More

Four very awkward customers but what service! I wanted the starter of scallops in a brandy sauce with tagliatelle for a main course - no problem, the old man wanted hake in batter (not on the menu) no problem. The other two, less awkward diners, had tempura monkfish and hake in parsley sauce - both excellent. We followed this up... More

After reading a leaflet we decided to give Cadgwith a visit whilst on hols in Porthleven. We summed up all the eateries on offer in the tiny cove and settled on the Old Cellars (on the left facing the beach). We observed that the going rate throughout the village for anything with crab in it to be £7.50 ish, so... More

We had the pleasure of staying in Cadgwith Cove for a week and visited the Old Cellars a fair few times during our stay. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate our take out request on our last night. The portion sizes were enough to feel satisfied but not overly full and the Cream Tea... Have wanted to eat here for yrs cos it looks nice from the entrance. Being in the yard is different. Quite claustrophobic. Untidy rubbish in the open shed nearby. Cobbles just look dirty. Umbarella was full of green slime. Waitress can only do one thing at a time and after taking an order next to us didn't say a word... More

It started with pan pipe music and just got worse. One of our party ordered crab cakes as a main course costing almost £10. What arrived were two pathetically small cakes which would have made a disappointing portion even as a starter. The other main courses which cost considerably more were also very disappointing and bland. It all felt very... More
