We were advised to have an ice-cream from B . by local people. It's super quality tasty and best in the UK. We will never forget the taste of their pasty. I had one pasty in lunch time I was still full at the evening so skipped the dinner :-)

What can I say! They are the best, we brought frozen large steak pasties to take back to our family who live here, cooked them to their instructions, (that they put in the bag) and they were delish, you don't need anything with them, they are a meal in them selves!!!

Pastry good but low on seasoning and lack of meat and meat of low quality - not sure why they have such good reviews - sometimes people are easy pleased !

No visit to Cornwall is complete without visiting Philp's for one of their famous pasties. More than you would pay anywhere else but the quality of the ingredients is second to none and blooming huge!! We even brought some home with us.

Any visit to Hayle or indeed it's more better known sister St Ives, cannot go amiss without visiting the Philps Cornish pasty shop. So well known that when we visited last Sunday we had to queue. For approximately 40 minutes just to get through the door. So what's on offer? Freshly cooked each day and Just about every pasty you... More

Was recommended a visit by a friend, so when I was visiting Cornwall on holiday I had to call in. One of the best pasties I have ever tasted.very busy at lunchtime, but staff quick at serving. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Averag pasties - hardly any meat in ours...and very very expensive! If you want a real Cornish pasty, try the family bakery in St Ives
