Philp's pasties are one of the best in the world, beautifully cooked, wonderfully tasty, a nice cafe in a nice part of Cornwall.

The great thing here is the choice; Traditional ,mince or chicken. Straight to the point , no need for anything strange.the pasties ooze of quality ingredients and are reasonably priced for their quality and size.a large will do you for dinner and tea !

Having sampled many pasties over the years, these are consistently good. Shop always busy, which says it all. Steak or mince, the choice is yours ! Need a good appetite for a large !!!! Good value.

We had three pastys, two of their biggest and one of the next size down, she can be fussy but ate the lot! Must be good....

I don't know whether they were having a bad day as the other reviews seem to rate them, but our pasties were dry, burnt underneath, (overcooked) and too salty. Some of the pastry was rock hard. However the Cream Teas were a bit good and so were the falke cakes and brownies. We'd tried a few pasties whilst in Cornwall... More

NOTE I'd haven have given 4½ stars if I could. I'm reviewing based on cold pasties warmed up in the oven when we got back to the cottage... I tried the steak and very nice it was too. A good size to make up a meal, pastry was about right, filling was substantial with good quality steak and all I... More

Moist pastry, piping hot, mouth watering steak filling which makes your mouth tingle with guilt as you swallow each succulent man size bite. Thank you I will be back for more very soon.

The steak pasties here are wonderful. Delicious pastry and very moist with a generous filling. Everyone comes here, from holiday makers to local workmen and by the look of the queue return many times.
