The most amazing pasties and in my and my family's minds the absolute best pasties in Cornwall. And we would buy here time and time again

I had to call and buy 2 large traditional Philps pasties as I left Hayle, 1 I ate as I made the 5 1/2hr journey back north and I shared the other one with my trouble the next evening. Just one word.....DELICIOUS!!

We have been visiting Philps for many years when we are on holiday in Hayle, lovely pasties, huge in size and fill you up for the whole day. We prefer the minced beef rather than the steak, but both are delicious. We have tried quite a few of the bakery cakes over the years, the rock cakes, scones and doughnuts... More

I love a good old pasty! Philp's are very famous for being the best in Cornwall, and they certainly maintain to their name! If you are down on holiday and fancy trying one, I really suggest you do! You will be missing out if you don't. I live in Hayle and my family and I love to have a pasty... More

This place supposedly serves 'famous pasties' (?) You must be joking! Based on my experience today on Monday 10th November 2014 I think that they ought to be known as 'infamous pasties'. I bought the standard sized premium steak 'Cornish pasty'. This proved quite undoubtedly to be the most disappointing, most unappetising, most tasteless, soggy, sinewy and undercooked pasty that... We live, eat, play and sleep in Cornwall because we are Cornish and Philp's pasties are the best so far and great value too. The que out the shop tells you they have to be good. Like all food it changes from time to time with the batch and we all have different tastes in what we we eat. We... More

Tasty Pasties the best ever. Always packed out shop but worth the wait. Been having Philips pasties for the last 52 years each time we visit Hayle! Even remember the little shop down on beach front at towans with Jean the shop lady that lived on Toms in the next chalet that my Parents always stayed in. Well done.

We had to feed the seagulls with our pasties, they were inedible, even the pastry was salty, we had a better pasty at warrens.

We go nowhere else for our pasties and this place is always our first stop as soon as we arrive in Cornwall after traveling down from the Midlands. I would highly recommend buying a box of their uncooked pasties to pop in your freezer at home just for that little taste of Cornwall after a busy days work!

These have to be the best pasties we have had in a long, long time, Not your big chain , factory produced pasty but a good Cornish pasty through and through. we even took some home when we left
