I always enjoy stopping at Johnny's, whether it's for a drink or for lunch. Lovely whole-food lunches, all vegetarian. A great place to demonstrate how imaginative and tasty veggie food can be. Am really hoping that Mirand re-opens. Hayle won't be the same without Johnny's.

We had a light lunch here, sitting outside in the sheltered front garden in the sun and it was delightful. Even the passing traffic and the sight of the building site that is Asda didn't dampen our enjoyment. The ambience is quirky and home-spun, but the service and food was professional and delicious. I had the vegetable burger with roasted... More

We visited twice during our stay and loved the food both times! The first time we had lunch and although they didn't have everything listed on the menu, I was still more than happy with my food. I had a vegan waldorf salad on jacket potato and my partner had a vegan burger with potato wedges. Both of us loved... More

I visited the cafe today and couldn't wait to sit down and write a few good words on here. This was one of the freshest tastiest lunches I have had in a long tIme. The lady serving was so personable helpful and friendly and I cannot wait to call in again next time I am in Cornwall. It was a... More

My daughter has moved to the area and I have been checking out local cafés and restaurants for her, not a bad job on the whole, at this time of year! I had read some of the reviews for Johnny's and was a bit put off. But, as I was passing on one of my walks and as usual was... More

My favourite lunchtime treat with cappuccino. I'd not come across them before, served with dark berries and juice. I like the relaxed friendly service and the deconstructed decor with eclectic mix of old furniture. There is an interesting mix of other goods from local artisans and third world recyclables plus some wholefoods. There's the option of sitting outside (a little... More

We stopped at Johnnys Cafe for tea and cake as we had visited several times in the past. The cafe is in a nice position in Hayle and has a quite a unique interior. We were very disappointed to find that the atmosphere had changed and it didn't have the same friendly feel that we had previously noticed. It was... More
