Good quality ingredients

Having been here previously we were looking forward to visiting again. There were only 3 other tables occupied in the dining room but service was very slow, it took 20 minutes for us to be given menus, which we had to ask for ourselves. There was a mis understanding with the duck starter. We... read more

Visited in peak season at a peak time and received nothing but great food and great service. The pub is charming as are the staff who couldn't have been more helpful and courteous.

We visited as a family of five - three adults and two children aged ten and thirteen. It was the last night of our three week stay in Cornwall and we made a last minute booking - no problem at all to the staff. When we arrived we chose drinks at the bar and were shown straight to our table... More

We went here for lunch mid week, the place was virtually empty and all the windows and doors were open. The first chair we pulled out to sit on was badly stained so we moved to another table. The chairs are rock hard and really uncomfortable. The skirting boards around the room were scuffed and unclean, so generally we were... More

I came here about 2 years ago & was hesitant in returning, but second chances & having read recent reviews I thought I would revisit....bad mistake. I literally just wanted a bite to eat at 6pm. So upon arriving at 5.45pm I ordered 2 drinks (approx £9.45) & asked if I could have a table for 2. The place was... More

We had a very nice meal here and staff were really friendly and made you feel very welcome. My husband had lamb curry the lamb just melted in his mouth. My son had a burger which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had duck salad with hoi sin sauce it was gorgeous but for me think it would benefit from some noodles... More

We went for a meal as a family and had a lovely time. The food was fantastic. Burgers, chicken risotto and steak. All cooked really well and served quickly. Would highly recommend.

We booked a lovely Evening for my Wife's birthday. The food was amazing, the Service was excellent and the views and location were wonderful. The Inn had a great atmosphere and we never felt rushed in our time there but we do recommend booking to secure a table as it gets quite busy so book now and don't be disappointed... More
