Visited here for Sunday Lunch last week, I am a true Yorkshireman and I've had many a Yorkshire pudding in my time but the ones here are the BEST I've ever had . The mixed dinner included Pork , Beef and Chicken and was a meal fit for a king . Portion wise amazing and you will struggle for dessert... More

Just stayed for a week in Portwrinkle. This was the nearest pub. The food is some of the best we have had. The fish pie is absolutely gorgeous and the sticky toffee pubbing was the best I've ever had. The staff are very friendly, al the service was with a smile and the atmosphere was fantastic. The beer was also... More

We ate twice at the Finnygook while we were staying in Downderry. Scallops are to die for!! Very good steaks, good service from friendly staff. Best to book as it does get busy

Visited here when in the area for our Sons passing out parade for the Royal Navy. The food, service and surroundings were lovely and we would have loved to return. The staff in particular were very accommodating, especially for the children! Thank you.

We ate here last night (Thursday) - myself, hubby and our two young children. We hadn't booked but arrived just after 6.15pm so took the last available table in the bar. (So I'd advise booking ahead as we saw a few people turned away unfortunately) Service was very polite, welcoming and friendly. Lovely people. The food was great. I had... More

Visited here the beginning of July, came for food for two nights in a row. The owners are such lovely people they couldn't do enough for us! The food is fantastic!! If you're in the area I would defiantly recommend visiting! Didn't disappoint at all, even stayed till closing and sat and had some drinks with them! If I'm ever... More

Wow...what a truly lovely pub. Either for food or just drinks, the atmosphere is great. Staff are really friendly & knowledgeable about the food they are serving. Menu is changed every month, which keeps it interesting, but the staples such as the amazing fish & chips (biggest pieces of fish I've ever been served!!), remain on the menu. It's disabled... More
