Fish and chips here are very good. Always cooked to order. They are friendly, and there is local fish caught on the menu, tells you the boat and where its from. Free car park over the road. In the summer they queue outside. The shop has awards. Good service. good prices and good size portions. Well worth the wait. Ps.... More

Consistently good fish & chip shop, prices are same as most other places in the area [except Rick Steins]. Staff are always friendly and service is prompt. Food comes individual boxes put in a paper bag What I do like is that you can park outside Peckish or over the road in the FREE council car park, Who wants to... More

Generous portions of fish and chips served in a handy box! The food is delightful, the chips cooked to perfection and the fish is positively melt in the mouth. Definitely deserves their awards! My regular takeaway and long may it remain so!

Have been going here for a long time, Hate to say it but a bit of a drop from their normal high standard. The chips were a little bit soggy [£1.85] and the haddock [£4.25] did not seem what it used to be. Cod Roe [£1.50] was excellent. Mushy peas fine [£1.00]. Service & speed of order excellent. But unable to have batter so they steamed fish but was a bit dry and tasteless. Other half had battered fish & chips,... More

Great little takeaway shop. Best looking fish and chip shop we have ever been in - clean and professional. We both had cod and chips and a also one steak and kideny pie. Freshly cooked fish and chips were faultless. Steak & kidney pie was lovely. Service was friendly. Will return!!!

always good fish and chips here. Just a warning, the portion size of the cod bites it huge! Easily enough for 2 people!
