I'm a local (Tintagel) and happen to work in Boscastle too. Me and my other half ventured down here one afternoon for lunch a couple months back to try out their menu as we like to eat out on occasion and try different places. Harbour lights was a delight! The staff were very friendly and happy. Nicely decorated cafe lovely... More

Look on any postcard, fudge box, or painting of Boscastle, and on it you're bound to see this quirky little building which houses the Harbour Lights cafe. With that amount of visual art highlighting your establishment, you could argue it would be easy to stick a sign outside the door reading 'Cafe' and have the local crowd beating a path... More

Stopped here for lunch on the basis of the positive reviews. The place was quite busy but we found a table inside. We ordered the 'steak' pie and chips three times. It turned out only two were available, so one of us had the vegetarian pie instead. All were served with chips and salad. The food arrived fairly promptly although... More

We descended on the cafe with two testy kids on a rainy day. The lovely staff immediately made us really welcome, even though toddler was being troublesome. As soon as for and drinks arrived with colouring and crayons for kids everyone was happy and parents settled down to lovely crab sandwich and soup.

Wonderful Lavazza Latte coffee and delicious bacon and egg baps served by delightful, friendly waitresses. This is the best spot for coffee in Boscastle, is a wonderful sun trap, we could take our dog, enjoy the views. They go out of their way to make you feel extremely welcome. A lovely place to relax after a breathtaking walk up the... More

I know of no better tea room in Cornwall - and it is one that serves the most delicious gluten free scones with clotted cream and jam. The waitresses, all dressed in navy and white stripey tops, give service with a genuine smile. It is no surprise that it is often difficult to get a table!

Popped in for a cup of coffee with grandson whilst Mum and Dad went for a bracing walk . He chose the hot chocolate with lashings of marshmallows. So much that they needed to replenish the stocks. You may be sitting on them in the cafe! Great service. Great staff, great drinks. Just as good as two years ago on... More

Stopped here are a walk upto the look out. And went back a couple of days later it was so good. I had a generous pot of tea the first time and a delicious capuccino the second time. Both with a single scone, jam and cream. The cream tea was beautifully served - home made and warm scone with generous... More

We passed a number of eateries on our day to Boscastle, and thankfully stopped at the Harbour Lights, the specials board grabbed all 4 of us. we had the fried Calamari, and I complemented them when the waitress took the plates, we all enjoyed them, and the atmosphere and attentive staff were brilliant. We will be going back for some... More

Only popped in for a morning coffee, but was very impressed with the customer service . The waitresses were very friendly and polite. Looking around everyone seemed very pleased with their food. I would definitely come back and have lunch there.
