Great food

We had the opportunity to visit this cafe twice during our stay. At both times the food was great, well priced and the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended.

A lovely tea room on the banks of the river, serving delicious home made cakes and home cooked light meals. Nice to fine real leaf tea in a china pot and freshly brewed coffee. We enjoyed a leisurely afternoon tea without being hurried by the staff who were friendly and helpful. Well worth the short walk along the riverside to... More

Visited Boscastle this October, stopped at harbour lights, had a lovely lunch of smoked haddock fish cakes, fries and salad. Very tasty, portion just right, reasonably priced.

Popped in for lunch October half term, on a lovely sunny day. My husband ordered a ploughman's and my daughter and I had breakfast baps. The food was beautifully presented and tasted lovely. The ambiance and atmosphere in this very busy tea room is nice. There is an interesting choice of soft drinks and the hot chocolate was really good.... More

We popped in here on our recent visit to the area and were pleased we did. We sat outside people watching on a nice day. The setting is beautiful on the bank of the river and this lovely little tea room serves lovely tea and coffee and very tasty cakes, which we enjoyed immensely. The staff were very friendly and... Called in last Saturday morning while visiting the Boscastle Food and Craft Fayre, and were delighted we did, a lovely warm welcome in the glorious morning sun, a table and chairs on the sun patio on the banks of the river, what more could one want? Excellent choice of home made cakes, all of which looked wonderful and made choosing... More

Spent an hour here on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning. The coffee was acceptable maybe a little weak. Smoothies were very enjoyable and one of our group had a half cream tea that consisted of one scone, jam and clotted cream plus tea. Very reasonable at £3.95. It was a very pleasent coffee break .
