My husband, myself and our dog visited Boscastle the other morning for a walk and we decided to stop at the Harbour Lights for coffee and a tea cake. We sat outside as it was a beautiful morning. The young lady who took our order was very polite and cheerful. Our coffee, which I would add was one of the... More

While on holiday recently enjoyed the best Cornish Tea at the Harbour Lights. Home made (buttermilk?) scones, proper home made jam and cream both served in crockery bowls not plastic containers. Excellent. Keep up the good work. Very attentive service as well.

The whole place shouts "Fresh!", "Clean!", "Light!" and it is. It's a pleasure to sit inside or outside this lovely little place near the harbour. The food is good, there are daily specials, the staff are friendly and I would eat here again.

I'm a regular visitor to Cornwall and have frequented more than my fair share of tea rooms but very few come close to the wonderful Harbour Lights Tea Garden in Boscastle. It's become a must for me on any trip to the South West. The setting is idilic and the food delicious but for me it's the staff that set... More

Went to spend the day at the beach, but weather was against us. So we moved on down the coast and had a walk round the fishing village of Boscastle and Lo it became lunch time. Down into the harbour of Boscastle on the right hand side is the little restaurant known as the Harbour Lights, harbour spelt the correct... More

As soon as we arrived outside table was cleaned by very attentive and efficient waitress. Scones cream and jam were absolutely superb, with good servings of jam and cream unlike some Cornwall cafés not a foil container! Lavazza coffee is always good and the cappuccino here was was very well made Both waitresses who served me were very cheerful, chatty... More

We were attracted by the setting near the quay, outdoor seating and the specials board. A nicely presented and well filled prawn sandwich and a trio of smoked fish both served with a generous but quality salad garnish provided the perfect light lunch. Washed down with delicious banana milk shakes and followed by a quality cup of coffee. The waitresses... More

Every time we visit Boscastle we always pop in here for a cream tea. Always good, friendly polite staff and a great location. The fact that it is difficult to get a table speaks for itself.

This has got to be one of the friendliest places in Cornwall. Very attentive, friendly staff who made up feel very welcome as was our Golden Retriever, they were never pushy and made us feel we had all the time in the world. Beautiful crab cakes for lunch and we returned again to have the superb cream tea. Really fresh... More

We stopped here, only for a cup of tea after a longish walk, and what a great little place it is. There are not too many tables so I imaine it gets fairly full at times, but we were lucky enough to get one. It has a nice manu, with some interesting items on (I had never heard of Homity... More
