Having visited Harbour Lights for drinks earlier in the year and seen the gorgeous array of cakes it was a no brainier when it came to choosing somewhere for afternoon tea on Saturday. We each had a traditional Cornish Cream Tea. The scones were served warm and were delicious. The waitress was a breath of fresh air, so friendly yet... More

What a gorgeous place! We came across Boscastle completely by accident - well, the accident that is going on a walking holiday and forgetting your walking boots...... It was only when we came out of the boot shop a little parched, and remembered the history of Boscastle that we decided to take a wander and came across this lovely little... More

Stumbled upon Boscastle and instantly fell in love with the place. We decided to eat in The Harbour Lights and our waitress was absolutely superb. My wife has various allergies and the young waitress was super helpful, caring and professional. The food was good quality and we shall certainly be visiting again soon. Highly recommended!

We received a thoroughly warm welcome at this delightful eatery. I had delicious gluten-free cream tea and my partner had an apple pie which he said was light, fruity and very tasty. The view from the terrace outside is enchanting - water running past and beautiful North Cornish buildings nestling in a valley. Highly recommended. We'll be coming back for... More

The Harbour Lights had to be rebuilt after the flooding disaster in Boscastle and looks very much as it did before with it's quirky roof shape. We visited twice whilst staying in the area and both times were able to sit in the sun on the patio area at the front. We only had drinks, cakes and ice creams, all... More

When we visit Cornwall, we always make a trip to see Boscastle, so we have seen it before the disaster, just after, and then how it has transformed, since. Obviously Boscastle has changed since the disaster, but how they have transformed it. With so much thought and consideration, it has improved no end. And when we are wondering around this... More

Located just beyond the top of the harbour, this delightful tearoom has been completely rebuilt after being swept away by the flood of August 2004. The service is speedy and friendly, with the afternoon teas just what was needed. No hot food tested. Lovely coffee. Recommended.

Visited this beautiful cafe last week and the welcome we received was wonderfully friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The waitresses remained attentive and happy through our whole stay and nothing was too much trouble which was a delight. The food was also amazing and really quick too, nice big portions and not expensive either! The apple pie for... More

On a sunny day, you can't go wrong with this cafe for a light lunch, cream tea or a decent lunch! Perfectly located close to the village centre, right on the harbour, and close to good lovely walkways, the service is excellent and the food is fresh, simple and tasty. The smoothies are worth giving a go - beautifully lush... More
