Being on my own I was shown to a table facing a wall which was a little off-putting. Saying that I hadn't booked and the rest of teh restaurant looked very nice. The staff were very efficient and friendly. I had Scallops with bacon to start which were lovely. The steak I had for my main was a little tough... More

After a nice day walking and exploring, we stopped here for lunch. The food was cooked to order and was rather delicious. Portions good and it had the bonus of free wifi! Staff very helpful.

Amazing recovery after the terrible disaster that fell on this small town in 2004. 10 years on and this town is as beautiful as ever. So, cream tea.... With friends so decided to eat here. The Cream Tea was very good with nice warm and soft Scones, with decent Jam and of course Clotted Cream. Nice Earl GreyTea so was... More

Stopped here to get out of the rain and found a nice table overlooking the garden (nice when the sun came out). We ordered cream tea, and it was good, but not delicious. The waiter was not very attentive.

We ate here on our second day during a 1 week break in Boscastle. It was Sunday afternoon and the roast carvery was an obvious and very good choice. The staff however seemed to be struggling to cope with the number of diners and we had long waits between the various stages of our meal. Having experienced food of comparable... More

We visited this lovely restaurant on a day trip to Boscastle. My Son and I opted for the soup of the day with a sandwich. They were very generous portions and both home-made soups were delicious and each one was just £6. Our Daughter opted for the mussels with chips which again, she really enjoyed and once again a snatch... More

If you are in Boscastle then you need to come here for lunch. The menu caters for most tastes and is good value for money with a soup and sandwich for £6.00. The plus side of here is the free wifi and although this doesn't sound much but if you are visiting Cornwall you will understand the lack of network... More

Ate here recently - all pretty average to be honest. On the expensive side given the quality. Despite lobsters and chowder being on the menu (& being what had attracted us) chowder was not available which was v disappointing - and only 1 lobster - so maybe worth ringing to check availability first if this is what you are going... Day out while on holiday in Cornwall, Nice place to eat, portion size was just about right, service was pleasant and prompt. Reasonable prices. Duck noodle soup was a good change from the usual choices in the UK of some creamed veg. The ladies crab salad hit the spot - as she said. Sandwich was sized right - without the... More

Had a nice single course meal here. Food here was pretty average fare but was decent for the price paid, I had a burger which was nice but nothing overly special. Staff were attentive enough and it had a nice atmosphere. We missed the evening menu which looked a bit more adventurous so will hopefully be back to try that... More
