Filled my hunger void

I've not been here in a very long time, but on a rare shopping trip my dad was hungry and where else do you go if your down the road! My parents don't eat onions and garlic so it's hard for them to eat vegetarian food in a lot of places. Sakonis is currently going through a nice refurb (we... read more

We have been going to Sakonis for over 17 years and could not believe the poor level of service since the refurbishment and had to wait for over 20 minutes to be seated not because they were busy just unorganized. We do not eat onions and garlic but we have always had the buffet, the staff knew what was available... More

This used to be a laid back place, slightly shabby chic, but bustling with extended families tucking into generous portions of bhel puris, dahi vada, dosas etc. You almost felt that you could be in downtown Mumbai, with Bollywood tunes blasting from the speakers, people chatting in local dialects. However, since its refurbishment, it has lost the old charm, only... More

My family loves the buffet breakfasts here - excellent chai! I take chilli paneer takeaways regular and haven't had any problems recently (at times in the past it's been burnt or with more salad than paneer). I'm sure the recent renovation has created a more sophisticated atmosphere, I'm yet to visit but I can't wait!

With friends this sakonis restaurant belongs to our best pure vegetarian restaurant for us in London what we visit here so far in last 12years of living here in London, from buffet we like most chilli paneer, I think price can be a bit lower as within years increasing and now with service charge cost without any drink £14.30/per person... I regularly visit sakonis the buffet is good but I feel they should have different varieties of starters Every weekend you get dahi vada and bhel which is boring They should include samosas kachoris dhokras pani puri and different types of bhel I enjoyed the starters a lot because Indian curries even their Chinese is spicy and i can't eat... food good.. Typical desi service... No care shown.. Overpriced... Quantiy going less over the years n price going high over the years.. I guess with price going high the quantity should remain same.. Someone needs to give this guy head on competition. 🙏🏻

I went to sakonis just before I was informed they were about to refurbish the restaurant, some of the best vegetarian indian food I've had! The buffet has a huge variety and I left 100% satisfied with the taste and quality! Yummy chaats, puri and some indochinese dishes, deserts - definitely worth it. You can tell everything is being freshly... More

We went to Sakonis for the dinner buffet last month and it turned out to be one of the best buffet that I have ever feasted on. The spread was simply fantastic - from starters to desserts including items like chaats, fritters, noodles, pizza, dosa, puri, sabjis, rasam, sambhar, rice, gulab jamun, mango shake etc.; The key point that I...
