Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in...
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

Cozy dinning

We sat at a window table and watched the Amish buggies pull in and out of the tack shop and pass by with a purpose. Food and service were excellent as always.

Abby, our waitress, was fabulous when it comes to service! And, the food was delicious! I am not a big fan of Quiche, but decided to try it...WOW! Generous portion and out of this world! My daughter had a Rueben and instead of Sauerkraut, it had Pepper Cabbage on it. I wasn't sure if she'd like that and she left... More

Our knitting group of 12 ladies had a wonderful lunch at The Kling House. Our waitress, Sterling, was as nice as could be. We had a small private room so we didn't have to worry about disturbing others as we chatted together. The food was great!!! I'm looking forward to a return visit. Thanks, Monica and staff, for making our... More

We loved our choices that we were able to choose for breakfast. All the workers were very friendly. The menu for lunch and dinner all looked great.

Had breakfast here prior to our show at Sight and Sound. It is a bit expensive but the food is excellent. I had the "Bernard" since I am a fan of smoked salmon. Very good

I had an omelette, said i wanted wheat toast. Waitress didn't say toast is extra! Got the bill and one slice of bread cost 1.99! I have eaten in many restaurants across the country, and bread was always included! Won't eat there again

Dear Anita, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to review The Kling House Restaurant. I wanted to apologize for your experience and disappointment. It is true that toast is not typically included with our omelets. We do offer our wheat berry bread as a side for $1.99. However, you are right in assuming that your server should... More
