Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in...
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

I've always wanted to visit so this was a treat. Although my cousin had been there many times, it was her first time in Kitchen Kettle Village. We went to Kling's on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Although we were told it was a 15-20 minute wait, we were seated in 10. The waitress immediately came over to take our... More

We have eaten at the Kling House many times...it is truly one of our favorite stops! As soon as you are seated the server brings you crackers and a house cream cheese spread. We always choose the chicken salad sandwich with orange cranberry relish on top...excellent! For dessert we order the coconut cream pie...the best I have ever tasted! Ask... More

This wasn't our first time eating at Kling House. We go to PA every summer, and this is one place we make sure to stop! The servers are very friendly, especially Ashley. Such a sweetie- She even mailed us a postcard after our visit just to say thanks! The food is great too. They put a unique spin on the... More

It was actually not humid which is so unusual for August that we opted to eat out on the terrace. Despite the flies that pestered us at first, this turned out to be a good decision. I think it sped up our service as sometimes it can be slow due to the small amount of tables inside as it is... More

We sat outside for lunch - the food was good, service was good - they served the food on china plates but gave us paper cups for our coffee and plastic spoons, forks and knives. That was not so nice. But it was nice outside today and there is some nice landscaping in the area. We both had the quiche... More

Authentic PA Dutch food in a beautiful setting. It was nice to spend the day in the Kitchen Kettle Village attraction and have lunch in the Kling House right on the property.

Have been here for lunch for years but never did breakfast! The amount they gave you was well worth the price and it was all so good. Made with locally grown produce.
