Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in...
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

Beautiful cozy way to start your day

Staying at the village we always have breakfast at the Kling House. The food and service are always wonderful. We have also enjoyed lunch with the same results. So nice to have a place that you can relax and take your time while watching the world go by.

Hubby and I dined outside for lunch and we both enjoyed our choices and people watching. I had a salad with buttermilk chicken which was delicious, I still think about how good it tasted, we both had homemade pie for dessert which again was pleasing to the palette. Can't wait to return to this area and dine again.

My husband and I visit Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA, at least once a year, and we've been doing this for the past 30 years. We knew the Kling House was right there, conveniently located on the edge of Kitchen Kettle Village but we never ventured inside, thinking it was probably way over-priced because of the location. While visiting... More

I've had nice lunches there in the past, so I thought I would try it for breakfast. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon. The two pancakes were large, but nothing special. I thought $8.99 was overpriced for that - no beverage included, not even coffee!

This is a nice place, and has good food, and a very nice atmosphere. Good help, and friendly. Also just around it are many interesting shops.. You can spend a day walking around shopping, and come back again to Kling House.Seated on enclosed wrap around porch is delightful, and you can enjoy the Amish Buggies as they pass by.

I always have a meal at Kling House when I visit the Lancaster area. The meals are great! Unique dishes as specials. The meat loaf dish is one of the best, espcially in the colder months. Great salads. And the desserts are also second to none. The prices are reasonable.

Recently had breakfast at the Kling House and sat on the enclosed front porch. Service was very good and the breakfast delicious. Good coffee also! Love sitting there and just watching the Amish buggies go by. We will absolutely go back.

We recently at breakfast at Kling house. We felt very at home. The fact that it was originally a home made it even more cozy. The breakfast was delicious. We thought the coffee was a bit weak could have been stronger. The location is perfect right in the middle of the village. We would try it again
