Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in...
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

Always great food for lunch

We have eaten at the Kling House the last 3 times we have visited the Lancaster area. We have always enjoyed the food and the desserts. Always a little wait but (in my opinion) is worth a wait. They now give you a pager so easier than having to stay close to the reception area. It is one of... read more

This is the restaurant you go to if you stay at Kitchen Kettle Village overnight. The selection for the "stayover" menu is good, but you can also order off of the rest of the menu if you like. The food is always good and the staff is friendly.

My wife and I were here with another couple. We have been here before and will probably come again. The portions were ample and the food was good. We sat in a cozy room with two other tables. We were surprised how busy they were on a rainy Saturday in March. However, we were seated right away. Our server (was... More

My husband and I ate at the Kling House for brunch and decided to have breakfast instead of lunch food. He ordered pancakes and sausage and I ordered the egg scramble that is served in a small griddle pan. The pancakes were very large so I got to share with my husband! The food was very good. Next time I... More

Excellent service. Food is very good but not imaginative. Unfortunately it is not opened for dinner.

Always try to eat here when we are in Intercourse. Very relaxing atmosphere and gives you the feeling you are eating in someone's house. Service is always attentive. Both had the crab cake sandwiches, which were delicious. No complaints.

My daughter and i used to eat here once a month when she was younger and i honeschooled her. But we went back today for the first time in five years. We used to love their clam sausage soup. Today it was mostly tomatoes there were no mushrooms or sausage in it. The turkey club i had was uneventful. The... More

Stopped in for Lunch. Very good service. Crabcake was excellent. Had a great window seat and enjoyed watching the horse and buggies passing by. We had previously eaten here last spring and we were not disappointed. Tthis is a quality restaurant.
