Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in...
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

Great location plain food

My daughter and i used to eat here once a month when she was younger and i honeschooled her. But we went back today for the first time in five years. We used to love their clam sausage soup. Today it was mostly tomatoes there were no mushrooms or sausage in it. The turkey club i had was uneventful... read more

Stopped in for Lunch. Very good service. Crabcake was excellent. Had a great window seat and enjoyed watching the horse and buggies passing by. We had previously eaten here last spring and we were not disappointed. Tthis is a quality restaurant.

I often struggle to find family-style restaurants in America with really great food. This one was excellent. In almost every dish the flavors were genuine and tasty and the food was not loaded with too much sugar or grease. For dessert the others in the party loved their creme brulee - I wished I'd had that instead of the coconut... More

We enjoyed two breakfasts here while lodging on site. The baked oatmeal was fabulous. I would definitely recommend trying it. Great friendly service and very good coffee.

My husband and I decided to check out Amish country for an overnight trip one weekend in November. We stayed in Kitchen Kettle Village and because we stayed, we received a discount on breakfast at Kling House so we decided to check it out. While the service is great and the ambience is nice, the food is just OK. It's... More

Breakfast at the Kling House Restaurant is included with your room stay at the Inn At Kitchen Kettle Village. Basically, there are two choices of breakfast: Fried or scrambled eggs with potatoes, toast and coffee or french toast with bacon, toast and coffee. The restaurant used to permit you to substitute orange juice for the coffee, but they no longer... More
