The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

We enjoyed our first visit to Kling House. As Lancaster County natives, we often avoid restaurants and attractions in the tourist areas, but we were pleased with our experience. Our server was pleaeasnt and enthusiastic and the food was very good. The restaurant itself is in an old brick home, so it's laid out in several smaller rooms; that makes... More

This food is made with love. I had a simple breakfast of Baked Oats. At first, I thought they had taken the (usual) safe option of coating the oats in sugar. But no, these were authentic oats made from quality ingredients with no compromises. Oats - absolutely delightful! Next was the Creme Brûlée French Toast. Big call, but the best... More

The Kling House has amazing food, in an excellent atmosphere. My husband ordered a soft pretzel appetizer, and, at first, I was upset that he wanted to fill-up on bread, but I wound up eating the entire plate. Came with special mustards, and everything was homemade (no heated from frozen foods here....). Food is excellent - quaint atmosphere with excellent... More

We like to visit the Kitchen Kettle Village and always eat breakfast or lunch at the Klinghouse. Food is fresh and tasty. Service friendly and good. All seating tables are good but love the porch.

Had two delicious lunches. The fried buttermilk chicken sandwich was out of this world and the reuben didn't disappoint either! Stop here whenever I'm in the area for a show or shopping.

All I wanted was a few eggs and toast... 4.95 My wife had this iron skillet egg dish, she said was the best she ever had. Nice atmosphere, great service, but kitchen was feeling a pinch from high volume. They handled it well. Check it out, just don't be like me... cheap : (

We took our family here for lunch and it was delicious! They serve crackers with homemade spread as a free app, and all of the food was from scratch. We got the kids chicken fingers and they were actually chicken breasts that were hand breaded. Very high quality!

We visit here a few times in the course of a year. The staff are always pleasant, the service great & the food is exceptional. Always just enough - you won't leave hungry. Perfect for a breakfast or a lunch date.
