Description: The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in...
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.

Had breakfast here twice during our stay at the Inn at KKV. Had the French toast with tasty maple syrup. Both times the waitstaff was great. Prices were reasonable.

At the edge of Kitchen Kettle Village. The chicken and corn soup was very tasty. The tomato-based sausage and clam soup had a bit of a kick to it. The chicken salad with cranberry orange marmalade topping was superb and the portion was generous. The roasted veggie quiche was good, not great, and the slice was not generous. We wanted,... More

We love the Kling House restaurant nestled outside of Kitchen Kettle Village right on route 772! Their chicken salad with the cranberry relish is awesome! You can sit and relax on the porch as you watch the buggies go by. We always eat at the Kling house whenever we are in the area!

This restaurant was recommended to us and this was our first visit to Intercourse. Glad we ate here! We had a party of 13 - and were seated in 20 minutes on a busy afternoon. The food was delicious and service great. The portions are on the large side, so keep that in mind. The BLT, BBQ pork and chicken... More

We ate here for lunch twice while visiting the area and both were very good experiences. We were seated promptly. Atmosphere is reminiscent of a old house with a variety of rooms. The first time we had the salad special and the quiche of the day,. The second time we had the cranberry chicken salad sandwich, which we were told... More

We followed a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. As we sat down, we could enjoy watching passing buggies and horses through large picture windows. The customer service was genuine, the food creatively presented, and one of our guests especially liked the Pulled Pork BBQ. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy while classy. The lunch menu would satisfy different appetites.... More
