An elegant French restaurant in St Margarets between Twickenham and Richmond. I've been here a few times over the years and have never been disappointed. The food is always of a high quality as is the service. I've been here with family and friends as well as with my wife. It can cater for all. I've had better snails as... More

On the occasion of an 86th birthday celebration the outstanding luncheon was complemented with special attention to the birthday girl.. This comprised a complimentary flute of champagne for all the guests and a special order of fresh strawberries presented delightfully with the words - handwritten in chocolate sauce on the rim of the plate - ' Joyeuz Anniversaire'. Furthermore, this... More

Quality french cooking. A short menu always well executed. Portions are not large but always tasty. Interesting, french, cuts of meat (eg onglet, bavette etc) cooked with care and attention to detail. If you don't have 3 courses (and the bread) you may go home hungry. All in all very enjoyable. Always a good, but not necessarily cheap, nighy out.

One of the best places to dine in. Staff are so professional. Food is perfect and reasonable price. I took my wife in her birthday and she was happy with it.

Had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant while staying in St. Margaret's. Nice French bistro, food is good. Not an extensive menu, but something for everyone. Last visit I had lunch with my son, and we had to wait a long time for our main course, otherwise no complains. Very good service from the staff.

We have been to Brula a few times now and have always loved it. It was my husbands birthday on Sunday so I booked for us to go to Sunday lunch as a surprise. As usual we were greeted very warmly and shown to our seats which were by the window. We love the quirky feel of the restaurant with... More

Shared a lunch with friends at Brula St Margarets yesterday. A local restaurant that I'd been meaning to visit for years. What a disappointment. An expensive and tired plate of food was had by all. Ordering a selection of mains we all experienced the same poor quality - and there wasn't much of it either. Everything on the plate looked... More

I've never felt moved to write a review until a near perfect meal with a friend at Brula last Friday prompted me to action! Greeting is both professional and warm, quite difficult to pull off. Shown to table at window as I had requested, lovely ambiance - though few diners. (This soon changed, but noise levels remained muted). We chose... More

I have lived in this area of West London for a good many years and although not a regular at Brula I have never been disappointed on the occasions I have decided to treat myself and friends to a traditional evening out. The ambience is superb with food and service to match. Although not inexpensive it is value for money... More

I don't get to eat in 'posh' restaurants as often as I'd like - funds and time prevent. However, for my birthday, we decided to stay local and yet go upmarket, and it was lovely. Brula is in St Margarets, near Twickenham, in an unassuming spot near local shops and takeaways. It has a reasonable size frontage and an arched... More
