A step up from most Indian restaurants, both in food and service. Well worth a visit, and Twickenham has a lot of decent Indian restaurants.

Read the reviews and decided to go with a group of colleagues visiting Twickenham. Booked in, which was handled quickly and efficiently and arrived at 9.30pm. Really friendly greeting, seated immediately, and then moved to a better table that had become vacant (without asking to be!). This set the tone for our visit. Service exceptional (the waiter remembered who was... More

Tuesday evening we felt like treating ourselves to a curry and wanted to try a Indian restaurant which we hadn't yet been to. We have the taste card so we did a search and found Atitihi then we looked it up on Tripadvisor and it seemed quite good so we made a booking. The service we received was very welcoming... More

We went there for a change last week as the reviews on here suggested great things. The food was disappointing, the waiters didn't know the menu well at all and I was asked 3 times if I wanted another beer in the space of 5 minutes when I was still half way through my first one! It's not awful, but... More

Atithi is a cut above the average. The absence of poppadoms on the menu was explained by the arrival of some complimentary ones, followed by a lovely mushroom amuse-bouche, beautifully presented. We skipped starters (it is January). The mains and vegetable sides were delicious, very fresh tasting, distinctive and well-balanced spicing and portions which looked as though they might be... More

Having already tried and tested this restaurant with my partner. I took the bold decision of taking my mum here for her birthday (we are an Indian family so it's always a risk!). The restaurant were kind enough for me to deliver my mum's cake beforehand. As it was a match day in Twickenham the restaurant was very busy, but... More

Have been there twice now with friends. It's been as good as they told us it would be. Straight to the top of our Indian list

We went on a Saturday for lunch and were the only people there, so it was lacking a bit in atmosphere. However this was made up for by the great food. Also exceptionally good value for lunch (less than £6 for poppadom, curry, rice and nan bread on the set menu). Would go again.

We saw that this place had good reviews compared to some of the other curry houses nearby but still didn't expect the food to be quite so tasty! This place does a really really good curry. The dishes we got were delicious, quite rich and spicy but also with fresh flavours. Even the side dishes of daal and okra were... More
