A little hesitant as this was the first time back since the take over from Sagar, which was a South Indian vegetarian restaurant on the same site. However, we need not have worried - the food was reasonably priced, beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Starters were ample in size: The Aloo Tikki Chat looked just as pretty in real life... After a busy day in London, a colleague and I decided to stop off in Twickenham on the way home for a meal. Picked this restaurant totally at random. And I must say that this was the best Indian meail I have had in a very longtime. Poppadoms, Lamb Rogan Josh (the tenderest lamb in a curry I have ever... More

My wife, son and I had an excellent meal here. The food was beautifully prepared and presented. Service was attentive and friendly- nothing was too much trouble. Have been before and will definitely go again. Highly recommended.

I have been to Atithi's on a number of occasions and it never fails to disappoint. I do not live particularly nearby but the journey is well worth it - the food is by far the best Indian food I have ever had (& I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants!), the presentation is amazing & the service... It’s disappointing to see that people who value quantity over quality have marked this place down because they didn’t get to shovel in quite as much food as they were expecting. What this great little restaurant does offer, mercifully, is a slightly more upmarket take on Indian food than you will find in most of the disproportionately numerous - thanks... More

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in London. The food is always fresh, clean, gorgeously presented and served in a timely fashion. The importance of Indian food is the taste and how the spices flavour each dish and Atithi achieves every dish perfectly. The food is masterfully prepared and delicately spiced and flavoured. Each dish is distinct - unlike most... More

On sunday 28th four of us visited this restaurant for an early evening meal after a wonderful day watching a game of rugby at Twickenham. The restaurant was empty so we were made very welcome. The first alarm bell rang, when we were each handed a very poor photocopied menu, that my father questioned was this all they had to... More

As a vegetarian, I feel very lucky to have this new Indian restaurant on our doorstep. There is a large range of more unusual starters and main courses (veggie and non-veggie), breaking away from the same old offerings. The food is really light, and un-oily, you can actually taste all the individual ingredients as described on the menu. All sauces... More
