Good fresh food, gorgeous spices

I use Atithi regularly for a treat of a take-away. The food is always really lovely, with the spices and herbs tasting very fresh. They are very helpful with one of our party being dairy-intolerant and even made a special version of one of the dishes for us. Highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant with three friends on Valentine's Day this year. We had forgotten it was also a rugby day in Twickenham so it was very busy but we weren't in any massive hurry. We had to wait over an hour to get anything to eat or drink. We asked the waiters countless times for something to nibble on... More

As a devotee of one particular Twickenham curry house for many years (not this one) I've recently been trying out some others due to standards dropping at the aforementioned establishment. What has become clear is that Twickenham supports so many Indian restaurants largely due to the frequency and volume of rugby supporters visiting the town. Nothing wrong with that, but... More

Flavoursome dishes, well-balanced spice; generous portions; courteous service. Menu well-chosen and not so wide in choice as to make you suspect lack of focus in the kitchen. Would revisit.

booked for a post-rugby meal for 10 people. We were one of the first groups in the restaurant & were seated in a very small basement room which had zero atmosphere which was far too cramped. The service was slow with only one person seemingly able to take orders. Food was nice, not amazing. So basically would use again for... More

There are many restaurants to choose from on Twickenham and we were advised that this was one of the best "Indians" in town. If it is not the best, then it is 2nd to none. Excellent meal, presentation, service. Will return every time I'm in town.

I've always been a massive fan of this restaurant, so we wanted to take my mum here on her birthday as she loved it last year. The service is always great. The starters of mixed platter and onion bhaji were great. The mains were disappointing. Especially the chicken dishes, the chicken tikka masala was too sweet. The chicken kohlapuri had... More

I have spent a year planning to go to this restaurant and it was well worth the wait. The food was marvellous, the service was great, just what we needed on a cold drizzly Wednesday evening to warm ourselves up. Perfect.

I read the reviews on Trip Advisor for a decent curry after the rugby - Australia thrashed, need a proper celebration. Arrived very short wait, table for 2. The restaurant was busy, but service efficient. The food stunning, complex flavours - nothing bland here. A very good meal on an exceptionally busy evening, really friendly service, I will definitely be... More
