Michelin quality food at curry house price.

another fantastic meal at atithi!!! The monthly specials is a fantastic way for the chef to showcase his talent by cooking food which no other restaurants (specially outside central london) would dare to think or cook and it also gives regulars like me more reason to come back.

The trip adviser reviews defined. This as the best Indian in,Twickenha. And reasonably. Priced! Not! 1 glass of house wine. £6.25 1 bottle cobra beer £6.50 1 bottle. Still water £2.95 set meal for 2 £50.00 apart from the prices in my opinion being lavish, the meal certainly was not. The chef seemed to prefer garam masalla as his or... More

I've visited Atithi twice now and both times have had an excellent meal. Portion sizes, particularly the starters, are generous and the food is delicious. I eat a lot of Indian and this is the best in the area. The lamb shank special and the chicken curry in coconut were particular highlights for me. Service was good both times, attentive... More

Atithi is a great restaurant if you want to experience upmarket indian cooking without having to pay premium for it. All the dished the ordered were really good, fresh and succulent. My only slight criticism is that I like my Jalfreezi a fair bit hotter, however the flavour compensated for the lack of chilli. Desserts are home made and really... More

I had indulged the past few days with some rich foods so my boyfriend suggested that I have a taste of home for my birthday dinner…I wasn’t going to complain as I was thinking along the same lines! I was put off coming here after the last experience but as this is a local thought we’d give it another shot.... More

A great little Indian restaurant. We have visited many times and never had a bad meal. The staff are attentive and friendly and nothing is too much trouble, even on a match day! It has become a bit of a tradition to go here after the rugby and we even travelled here from Wembley Stadium after a rugby match just... More

I use Atithi regularly for a treat of a take-away. The food is always really lovely, with the spices and herbs tasting very fresh. They are very helpful with one of our party being dairy-intolerant and even made a special version of one of the dishes for us. Highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant with three friends on Valentine's Day this year. We had forgotten it was also a rugby day in Twickenham so it was very busy but we weren't in any massive hurry. We had to wait over an hour to get anything to eat or drink. We asked the waiters countless times for something to nibble on... More

As a devotee of one particular Twickenham curry house for many years (not this one) I've recently been trying out some others due to standards dropping at the aforementioned establishment. What has become clear is that Twickenham supports so many Indian restaurants largely due to the frequency and volume of rugby supporters visiting the town. Nothing wrong with that, but... More
