Lovely back garden, very good value daily menu, delicious food and a good selection of wine. Lovely and not pretentious!

We went for the set menu.waitress had to ask us on serving what we had ordered? Food was average but when bill arrived 12 per cent service was added!!cheek! We gave them 10 percent.

We are regulars at this restaurant and there is nowhere better for steak and chips. Fishy sharing platter is a good starter. Wines are well chosen and good value. More of a restaurant with a bar than a pub with food.
