Lovely seabass

Enjoyed a meal here prior to an overnight flight. A very relaxing atmosphere to start to our holiday and a thoroughly good meal that ensured we were not tempted with in-flight cuisine. Good service and a pleasant experience for an airport restaurant.

Have to agree with the unexpectedly good food at this place. The welcome was lovely without being pushy, service impeccable and the food was great! I had a delicious haloumi salad on freshly minted cous cous, with roasted aubergine, courgette and red pepper. Not especially cheap, but perfectly acceptable for an evening meal pre long haul flight. Will return!

Waiting for a night flight, do you eat before and risk not being able to eat on the flight or wait until airborne? Well we were hungry anyway and thankfully decided to eat before and chance the flight food. What a sheer delight to find this place, superb service from our Polish waitress, sadly I do not recall her name... More

On passing through Terminal 3 we found ourselves with the luxury of time and decided to take some lunch - not something to be taken lightly in an airport - until now. We chose the Oriel Grand Brasserie which is airside next to Burberry. It has calm atmosphere and nice traditional brasserie decor. My wife chose the hamburger and I... More

Great food before our flight, lovely and quiet with fast service. Worth heading to Heathrow a little earlier for some proper food before your flight.

Wow! This restaurant is a surprise!!! Tucked away behind the expensive shops and the cardboard food outlets lurks Oriel. Service is quick and absolutely superb. I had the Loup de Mer, the skin was crispy, the potatoes excellent and the fish delicious. Sure, it is no Michelin starred restaurant, but you'd be happy to receive the food and service in... More

A superior version of Café Rouge chain. It was clean and staff were both friendly and efficient without being in your face. Service was brisk and accurate. The meal I had was well prepared, a decent sized portion and attractively plated, served at the correct temperature. It was not busy, possibly because it is tucked away in a corner location.... This was one of the worst airport food experiences I had for a long time. Most requests from my table were messed up by distracted staff (that managed to completely ignore simple requests such as "hamburger with no mayonnaise" or "pasta with no cheese"). Despite this, food was served plain cold. The children's menu serves so tiny amounts of food... More

Not busy, clean, reasonable price, great service and enjoyable for a pre departure meal. Recommended. Note location is away from the main area so need to follow restaurant signs

We were about to go on a night flight and looked for somewhere which would serve what I call proper food. Found this and the menu looked interesting. We were sat promptly and menus were handed quickly. Both had Alsace Cremant (which is a French sparkling wine) and it was great. We then both had the entrecote steak and chips... More
