Excellent respite from busy LHR T3

Wandering past the caviar bars, bars and take-away coffee shops, and too many perfume sellers, but wanting a sit-down hot breakfast, I stumbled upon Oriel Grande Brasserie. The maps when you arrive at terminal 3 only show what's before security checks so I asked a Heathrow 'info' person and they were able to show me a list of eateries. Having many hours before boarding due to car rental return time I wanted a place to sit down and relax for a proper meal. Browsed the 'Rhubarb' breakfast... More

French restaurant I've used several times prior to flying. Never crowded (like the pub), plenty of room - probably because its tucked away in a corner. Food is French in style although the dejeuner anglais is the standard English breakfast (and very good). Warm friendly service and good food served quickly - i will continue to return.

On heading out to SA we had a long layover at Heathrow . we enjoyed our break at this tastefully decorated brasserie. ....art deco, marble tables, nice lighting, antique trunks and clocks. We experienced fresh, well prepared food and good service. Decided to try again , three weeks later on our way back home. We had been spoiled on holiday... More

We have stopped in the Brasserie on two separate occasions and have always been pleased we have done so. On the last call we both had breakfast which was good quality and very tasty. They also have a wide selection of drinks for every occasion. The price is as you would expect for an airport but well worth the escape... More

Tasty menu with a good selection of drinks - shame 50% of the wine was unavailable- of course the 50% that I like! A good compromise between the champagne & caviar places and the pub... Staff real friendly too... Worth a try

We had an unplanned visit in Terminal 3 after out Emirates flight was delayed and we got a £20 voucher each. The food was outstanding and for an airport eatery, this was the best I have enjoyed in a long while. Staff were great, wine enjoyable and overall an excellent experience. I will definitely be using it again.

Stopped here for dinner when I was early for a flight. Positives are the cocktails (very nice) and variety on the menu (a bit different to burgers etc.). The downside was that my steak came out cooked to death when I ordered it medium-well. To be fair to the waitress she took it back without being asked and a properly... More

Altogether a nice relaxing experience in an airport terminal restaurant and somewhat suprising, staff attentive pleasent and very helpful. Glass of heidsieck, ouefs royale disarrano and coffee not expensive. Will be back on the next trip.

Before departing on an evening long haul flight we have made it a habit to go through to the departure lounge early and have dinner at a reasonable time; forgoing the airline food in favour of a nightcap and then sleep. On this occasion we were leaving from Heathrow's Terminal 3 and after viewing the terminal's information board we chose... More
