Working at the airport its good to know you have a choice of some very decent pubs to choose from for a "couple" after work. The staff here are always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is always buzzing. I had drinks in T2 the other evening with some ex-work colleagues and was being picked up by my boyfriend so... If you wish to visit an original English Pub, this is the place for you. Cold beer and traditional English Food at a very good price. They even have English People working here. We took a bus there, but got off at the wrong stop and had to walk over a half mile in the rain. We called ahead, but... More

Had dinner one night, whilst staying at the Park inn hotel, (accross the road) before a flight to Toronto.. Good basic food with friendly staff and excellent prices. Not a la carte, but ideal for the night before a flight. Decor was a little tired,," but it does what it says on the tin." Will certainly visit again when flying... More

I just needed to get out of the hotel and go some where more relaxing which would have a good menu and good service! I was extremely satisfied with everything, my dinner was very tasty, HUGE portions, 1st class service, reasonably priced and a great selection of beers:) I'm from Ireland (Sligo) and I will for sure go there anytime... Superb bend over backwards staff. TV's in restaurant are switched off, nice touch. Portion sizes relatively small but prices match this, two courses made up for the small portions!

Gastronomic food it isn't but at the same time given the pubs location it's reasonably cheap & it's more than acceptable. The place was very busy but we were served pretty quickly. Plenty of choice of beers on offer & an extensive menu. We have eaten here before so knew what to expect.

This place is an easy walk from the hotels along Bath Road. We shared the Mega Cod meal which was great, including some scampi. There are great bears; Hobgoblin and Bombadier to mention a few. Very pleasant people, good prices and although there is seating outside we preferred to stays indoors.

We have used the Magpie on a number of occasions when flying out of Heathrow. The atmosphere in the Magpie is more fun and friendly than the hotel we stay in. The food is basic but brilliant pub food and is priced accordingly. The Magpie is very popular and is always very busy 7 days a week. The fact that... More
