Breakfast is breakfast whoever the chef is

Terminal 5 can be a busy place, and the places to eat even more so. So when I saw the signs for this I thought I would investigate. I found a wide open atrium, lots of empty tables and a small army of waiters ready to pounce. I chose pancakes, and was offered bacon as an extra, I also asked... read more

This is a great contrast to the fast food outlets which infest airport departure lounges. Normal dining or express both on offer. Pleasant surroundings and excellent service. Enjoyed our meals very much. Yes, prices are rather high but think of the overheads!

I am a big fan of Gordon Ramsay! There was no beef burgers available on my visit. I had an Asian inspired beef dish & a blue cheese & pear salad. The beef dish was tiny but well presented but lacking flavour. The salad was thrown together with huge clumps of blue cheese - the size of large pebbles which... More

I had a layover in Terminal 5 at LHR with some time to kill, and I was hungry for a small bite. After looking at the options, I decided to give Gordon Ramsey's Plane Food a try. The good: The layout of the restaurant is extremely pleasant, open and airy. It was really appealing, and seemed to be the perfect... More

Over priced and poor food. The restaurant may have a international chefs name over the door but the standard of food is second class. It is a cast of kitchen nightmares. £16 pound for a basic burger is over priced, fries and salad are charged extra. Come on "Gordan"where the flare and good food you so highly rate yourself and... Great little spot - quite nice and quite in the hustle and bustle of a busy airport. Food has always been good - tried a number of things now. The eggs Norwegian are very good but not the best - work to be done still please in the sauce. Only thing that lets this place down can be service. Good... More

Definitely worth stopping in if you are at the airport with time to spare and need to grab a bite. Excellent service and delicious food, but it is a little expensive. Stopped in with my husband on a layover from LA to Germany. Love Gordon Ramsay and this restaurant didn't disappoint. Calamari and butter chicken are particularly delicious dishes. Also,... More

Ordered Sausages and Mash, had to send it back, the sausages were under cooked, still raw in the middle. But have eaten here before and had a good meal. Probably just a hiccup but could be something to watch for when busy!!

Had decent three course meal here - nice soup, tasty chicken dish and a dessert. Overall experience was good - couldn't complain about the quality of the food. Service was polite and attentive, although a bit slapdash for what is trying to be a 'fine dining' experience. Wine particularly good. Not cheap but in terms of value it wasn't excessive... More
