Went to Bridlington for a christmas shop with family. Stopped at Audreys fish and chop shop on tuesday of last week and had a wonderful meal. We had three fish and chips and it was beautiful. Service was very friendly. Highly recommend a winter visit.

Authentic skin on fish and chips done the traditional way. A proper old school chippy. Friendly, efficient staff.

I've not been to Audreys for twenty years. Time warp. It hasn't changed. A cold wet November day. The yellow sign outside was glowing and welcoming. We were the only customers in the upstairs restaurant. We went in for a nostalgic late lunch. £16.50 for haddock, chips, mushy peas , tea , bread and butter for two was good. Previous... More

We visited Audrey's about twenty minutes before closing time, and had a sit down meal upstairs. The cafe was clean and tidy, and the staff were polite and friendly. The fish and chips were very good, and we would have no hesitation in returning again. Perhaps the only minor niggle for my wife was that the fish was served with... More

We called last night before the Jake Bugg gig at the Spa. I have been before, in the cafe upstairs before an Oasis gig. This time we ate outside, we had to wait for the fish to be fried which is a good sign. There were four of us, one of whom claims to be an expert on fish and... More

I go a few times a year-usually when I take my pupils on a fieldtrip. Make the walk from the front to there, leaving other chippies by the wayside .Disappointed today.,left waiting ages. Small portion. Fish thin and not juicy. Went back to kids, (half hr later) and they all bragged about how their fish and chips were better! True.... More

We used groupon vouchers so value for money was good. We ate in the cafe upstairs which was spotless; as were the loos. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; which was refreshing! The chips were pretty good, as was the fish; though they serve the fish with the skin still attached on the underside which isn't to our taste, or... More

Went here for our dinner, fish chips and peas. Outstanding service, food and value for money. One little downfall is a couple came in with there dog (pet), and sat a table away from us. But I'd not hesitate a re visit :)

We enjoyed the fish and chips as did our daughter who lives in Madrid ! Hot tasty and good sized portions. We sat in the bay window with a sea view ! I think the decor is slightly boring and could do with an interior designers touch in keeping with Bridlingtons much improved image .i.e try to go up market... More
