lovely atmosphere, we visited late summer and had the most fabulous salads with hommus and olives, just the sort of food I want to eat but it is so difficult to find in the UK. I would come back to Brid. specially to go to the Rowan Tree, and the shop that was next door

What a fantastic little cafe! Myself and my family chanced upon it whilst we were on a day out in Bridlington and we loved it! The atmosphere was really relaxed, the waitress was very friendly and chatted to us about the food, explaining it was all locally sourced and how nice it was, and she wasn't Wrong! The burgers were... More

This a little lovely cafe tucked away not far from the sea front, the food is a must as it is all freshly prepared and homemade, I am not a dessert fan but here the cakes are so delicious in looks and taste I cannot say no. I highly recommend The Rowan tree if you fancy a pot of tea,... More

This cafe has real atmosphere and the food is simple and delicious. The home made soups are to die for and I strongly recommend them. The cafe serves a wide range of snacks and has specialist evenings with themed menus. Staff so friendly. Just loved it

Well done to this little place for producing tasty locally sourced exciting food in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The owners have done a tremendous job in creating a laid back atmosphere with the outside space like a little oasis in the noise and bustle of the seaside area. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend it.

Nice to find an organic cafe/restaurant in a seaside town when most places to eat are either fish and chip shops, take aways or tacky cafes! We were taking our granddaughter to the seaside for the day and not knowing Bridlington well did a Google search on the way there. The Rowan Tree sounded just our sort of place as... More

As a vegetarian, I find it difficult to find a decent place to eat. However, I discovered The Rowan Tree while on holiday a few years ago and have returned each year when staying near Bridlington. The food is freshly made and they cater for meat eaters as well as vegetarians. There is a good selection of homemade cakes. The... More

I've been several times in the last month. Lovely coffee, very nice cakes which are a little different. I love the savoury specials for lunch which are served with a variety of delicious salads. my favourite has been the vegi scotch egg which id love the recipe for if the owners are reading. My daughter had a burger which was... More

I had read all the good reviews and thought we would give it a try, coffee fine, but the toasted teacakes were a bit dry, a bit overcooked and my pet hate... came on a plate with two wrapped butter pats. My daughter liked the rocky road and the little biscuits were a nice touch, but for three small coffees,... More

Great quality food - home cooked and made by the owners. Have been eating out here since its opening and always a delight to dine here. Have you tried one of their themed nights? Lovely courtyard garden to rear.
