If the sun comes out great garden with all new furniture.

Being a small pub/restaurant I wasn't sure about going there for a meal, but I was wrong. It was small but the staff were attentive and efficient. The food there was lovely and not too expensive given the location. The garden is great, a bit undulating for those unsteady, but really sunny with lots of benches to sit on, without... More

a really nice pub, traditional atmosphere with lots of locals. We had attentive service, menu was good & backed up by well presented & tasty food. Reasonably priced as well. We will be back as well as recommending to local family & friends.....keep up the good work.

The fad for triple cooked chips really needs to stop, They taste far too fatty and the ones we had here didn't taste fresh. We had to complain about my daughter's burger being very undercooked, only to have the waitress pulling faces when she returned to the kitchen ( yes the door was open) and then have a burger microwaved... Hate to disagree with previous reviews, but visited tonight for dinner with friends. It has been redecorated since our last visit & has a pleasant ambience. It isn 't an extensive menu, but interesting choices! I have a lactose intolerance & asked if they would check anything I ordered for dairy. I ordered crispy duck Caesar for a starter &... More

We visited last night, and It was a lovely evening. Our party all had different meals and we cleared our plates, it was fabulous. I especially recommend the cheesecake- best I have eaten. The service was excellent, nothing too much trouble, quick and efficient. I almost didn't review as I don't want the place to get too popular!

Visited the pub on Saturday, staff all very friendly and efficient. The BBQ in the garden was excellent. Wish there were more people enjoying it on a such a sunny day. They really should do more advertising in local papers and around the local villages to spread the word.

really good food, restaurant with character plus a very nice garden. Very busy but staff just about kept on top of it! Prices ok - but very reasonable for the quality, which was a match for the best in the area

Second visit , what a change in 3 months. It was very nice before , under the new landlord. But now he has redecorated , refreshed the bar , spent a lot of time on a fantastic new beer garden - this place is great. New BBQ and outdoor bar complete the garden. Great food, beer and service. Can't go wrong.
