We had the pleasure of a celebratory business lunch as a large group and were lucky to have wonderful weather so were able to be seated in their garden. Well it has been almost a year I think since my last visit and I was pining so when I found I had a chance to go along for Sunday lunch a few weekends ago I took the chance. As ever the welcome was wonderfully warm, given they haven’t seen me in a year! Sorely tempting as it was to... More

My wife and I were treated to lunch as a joint birthday present on the 12th June by our daughter and her boyfriend. Service and attention to detail is outstanding. Lunch menu is reasonably priced. A la carte is rather expensive. We ate mainly from the a la carte menu; the food and presentation was superb. We would certainly recommend... More

We were treating friends who go here for lunch though not before for dinner. The evening was first class though our friends were slightly embarrassed they had selected such an expensive restaurant for us to treat them

We were taken here by friends to celebrate our 50 wedding anniversary. We had a mix of dishes and all were excellent. My husband had the calves liver, which I was dreading as he is never happy by the way it is cooked, he loved it, and said it was the best he had tasted. The service was friendly but... More

We have been a few times for dinner and always have a great meal. This time we went for lunch with our 5 year old, he loves salami so was ok, but they are not really set up for kids food wise. However my son still says they do the best ice cream ever. Highly recommend this place.

We can't understand why Giancarlo & Katie Caldesi haven't got a Michelin star!! Their home-cooked, truly seasonal, full of fresh ingredients menu is surely crying out for one!! Having said that, maybe a Michelin star would ruin it? Bray is choc-a-bloc with stars, but the inspectors have made a terrible omission............Caldesi in Campagna has the BEST Italian food we have... More

Went for lunch to this upmarket Italian restaurant with my family to celebrate after awards ceremony at Windsor Castle. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and very Italian but underneath and apparently effortlessly there was real attention to detail. The food was superb from the little taster arancini with cauliflower purée to the steaks, the pasta, the delicious veg, the home... More

A little hard to find - and essentially being spread over the ground floor of a house inital expectations were not that high - we were seated in a conservatory area. However the warmness of the welcome and attentive serivce soon moved us on. Food overall was excellent - particularly the fish. Deserts were outstanding. I had a rolled duck... More
